Cedar Canyon Campground

Managed by the National Park Service within Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, Cedar Canyon Campground provides both drive-in and walk-in sites with drinking water, restrooms, showers, and a dump station. The campground sits in a valley location that may offer some wind protection compared to higher elevation areas.

Campers can access small beach areas and a boat ramp directly from the campground, with adequate parking lots serving both facilities. The valley setting positions the campground below the surrounding bluffs in the recreation area. Trash service and campfire permissions make this a well-equipped base for camping near Lake Meredith National Recreation Area.

Beach Camping

There are a couple small beach areas to camp and a boat ramp. Parking lots are both good size. It's down in a little valley so maybe less wind than up on the bluff at Fritch Fortress.

SiteWe just drive through to check it out, we're staying down the road.
