Dirt roads lead to this open dispersed camping area within Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, where campers spread across pasture-like terrain dotted with cactus. The National Park Service maintains a pit toilet and trash service at this free site, though no drinking water is available. Road conditions shift from pavement to dirt before reaching the camping area, requiring some vehicle clearance and caution during wet weather.
The exposed landscape lacks shade trees but provides excellent solar panel conditions for RVs with off-grid setups. A single rock fire ring serves the area, and campers can access both drive-in and walk-in spots depending on their setup. For additional camping options, see campgrounds near Lake Meredith National Recreation Area.
