    Overview

    Pine Lake Campground is located next to its scenic namesake lake high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 8,100 feet. Visitors enjoy canoeing, fishing and exploring local hiking and off-road vehicle trails.

    Recreation

    A short trail leads from the campground to Pine Lake, which offers excellent canoeing and kayaking, as well as fishing for rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout. Hiking and off-road vehicle trails are plentiful within the area, however off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground. The Pine Lake OHV Trailhead is located adjacent to the campground. A loading ramp is provided.

    Bryce Canyon National Park is approximately 30 minutes from the campground, offering breathtaking scenery and excellent hiking opportunities. Kodachrome Basin State Park is an hour away, with towering rock spires, a natural arch and great hiking trails.

    Escalante Cabins & RV Park has the largest RV sites with full hookups, many of which are pull-through. Tent sites are convenient to clean bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. All cabins have full private bathrooms within the cabin. Escalante, Utah is central to Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and within day-tripping range of Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park.

    RV's: All sites have full hook-ups. Some sites have as much as 1/2 acre of space around them. Many are pull through sites with views of the valley and cliffs. We offer the most spacious pull through, full hook-up RV sites in the area. They are designed to comfortably accommodate big rigs and smaller rigs alike. You can park your RV, toad, dinghy, motorcycle, or off-road vehicle in one convenient location. We also offer large & small back-in sites for longer stays at a discounted rate.

    Tents: Our tent sites are great for a little camping for the entire crew to pitch a few tents. All sites are under the extraordinary dark sky at no extra charge!

    130 RV sites, including 75' + back in & pull thru with 20/30/50 amp. 45' back in & pull thru 20/30 amp. 30' back in 20/30 amp. All with full hook-ups. Picnic table firepit/grill in each space.

    We have a special unique separated area for our Equine Camping Guests on the property that has 30 RV sites which are 65' x 30' back in and pull thru. 45' x 30' back in and pull thru. With Equine facilities near large Cottonwood trees. The Equine Camp area has its own group site fire pits for gathering with friends as this is a very private beautiful area.
