Ok
Tried to call several times to make reservations no answer got there lady was real crabby said they get 80 calls a day can’t answer them all you needed to leave message told the we were on motorcycle hard to get reception in spots 45$ for a tent sight is a little steep
Just right
Well kept. Trolley stop so close you don't need to find a parking place while exploring downtown. Wifi is good enough to stream. No dog park but enough area to do their business. Tight spaces. We're 43 feet fifth wheel. Barely enough room to park truck in the site. We would stay again.
Beautiful and serene location
This would be a 5 star review if the owners allowed access to the river and green area along it that they own. It is right there at camp but you can look but not touch. Everything else is really top notch. Well kept and clean grounds and facilities. Very nice laundry facilities. Very good wifi. Nice sized pull through sites. Can’t comment on pool as was not open yet. Trolley stop that gets you into town right across the street. A few nice full timers. Their rigs are in good condition. Better than two parks north of this one.

Nice place to stay
Came to Durango for a visit. Stayed in this campsite for a night. It’s a nice little place, and except for the highway near by. The train passes by during the day. I would stay here again. There is a trolley to take you into town. Good place to stay.
Almost camping in the city
The campground is next to the road and the railroad tracks. There is no site privacy. But it's a useful stop if you need a shower, laundry, and resupply in Durango.
Great place
Stayed here for two nights visiting Durango. This place is set up well, well maintained, good facilities, nice staff and the trains run right through it! Great laundry space and showers were clean. Only negative I could come up with is the sites are pretty close together.
Cozy Camp Spot
Easy access from 550, flat and grassy tent spots. Good wifi and clean bathrooms. 2 people per site, $5 extra for every person after that. One vehicle, $10 for an extra vehicle. Steep prices but it was a great last minute spot. Durango Hot Springs right up the road is a must!

Great tent spots on grass
We motorcycle camp and use tents every night. We've been to this campground several times because it is so perfect for us. They are open late until 8pm. Besides full hook up sites, they have a large grass area that is lush and flat. It's perfect to pitch a tent or of dust, mud or rocks. Their bathrooms and showers are clean and welcome after a long day of riding. We had the train come through just feet from where we camped.
Forest Campground🚂
Great guest service! Full hookup sites. Spot are very bigs, have picnic table. Resort amenities are very cleans. Very nice outdoor pool. Nice for walking and biking. You can see Silverton train run through the campground. Beutiful trees!!!🥰 For sure we will stay again and recommend.

Peaceful and clean 😌
Wonderful..just me 1st time in 30 years! They took Wonderful care of me...
A Train runs through it
What a treat to see the Durango and Silverton train run right through the campground. Lots of trees for shade spaces are wide enough for most to park next to their camper. Showers and bathrooms are clean and the staff was very pleasant. No sewer hookup at site but there is a dump spot to use before leaving.

family friendly camping spot
We did tent camping and 2 tents fit in our spot (an 8 person and a 4 person tent). The tent sites have a table with benches. no fires are allowed so bring a gas stove if you plan on cooking. Its really close to the Durango old Town area (like 10 min drive or less) and about 45 minutes to mesa verde. The camp sites are right next to the Aminas river but there's no access to it from the campground unfortunately.
Friendly staff and great location
I recently stayed at this campground and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I forgot my spare tire cover behind at my campsite and when I called they grabbed it and held onto it for me. The campsite was well maintained and the bathrooms and showers were very clean.
The greatest thing about this campground though is that the Durango steam train goes right through the campground. To see the historic train right from your camper or tent window is pretty great.
I would absolutely stay here again.
Full RV hookups a swimming pool Wi-Fi and close to town
Just just on the north side of Durango. Very convenient with a shuttle for a fee back into Durango. Narrow Gauge Railway comes right through camp for some wonderful photo opportunities. Nice swimming pool and very clean bathrooms and hot showers. Tenting area has lush green grass and shade trees very nice for group site as well.
