Awesome dog friendly
Park has great clean facilities. Lots of shade trees, pickle ball court. Huge dog run area out front. And only a mile from Durango hot springs and just down the road from the Colorado Honey Distillery.
Thank you for your kind review.
Confusing return policy
Two days after booking a site we needed to cancel and they charged me $50 with over a one month notice. I read the return policy and it seemed I would have received a full refund. The refund policy on their website as of August 2023 is confusing
The policy is clear. If you make a reservation and cancel one month before tour stay it is $50. It costs the park money to make and cancel reservations. If you cancel 30 days before your arrival you pay $50 and get the rest of your deposit back.
Cool summer Nights
Easy to find off the Highway. Close but not too close to downtown Durango. We were immediately greeted by CJ. He was extremely nice and he guided us to our shady site by the cafe. This parked is well maintained and super clean. I would’ve given 5 stars if not for our “buddy” site. Our neighbors we real nice but you really have no privacy. Seems as if all the center sites are this way. Choose a sight around the perimeter for privacy. Due to the close proximity, I can see why there aren’t any fire rings at the sites. All in all, I would stay here again.

Thanks for staying with. Hope to see you again.
Rest and relaxation
Spent two nights to rest and relax after crossing Red Mountain Pass during snow storm. Enjoyed bathrooms, showers and dog park (2 acres). Camp hosts were especially friendly and helpful. Spent time at Durango Hot Springs too! Make sure you go!
Beautiful Views
This is a very quiet, well run campground. Access to the campground is right off 550. Driving through Durango was a pain because of some lane closures. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. There were lots of dogs, but everyone kept them quiet. There is a very nice dog run and exercise area. They also have a trout pond. The sites are pretty level for th most part, and spaced out nicely. The Durango Silverton train track is just across the road from the entrance.

One of our favorites in CO!
This RV park was amazing! We usually stay in State parks and national campgrounds but this private RV park is the best of both worlds. Friendly staff, ample Laundry facilities, spacious sites (premium and above), 2 acres dog park, restaurant onsite and just a wonderful basecamp for Durango and Silverton. We had technical issues and they were very accommodating plus they have an RV tech on-site. Highly recommend .

Nestled in the Cottonwoods
Pretty little campground just north of Durango. Friendly staff with clean facilities. Would definitely stay there again.
Amenities Not Available to All Campers
These are full hook-up sites. Amenities include playground, pool, laundry, bathrooms, and shower. We were notified before hand that we could not hook up to water due to freezing temperatures. (It is November.) When we arrived we discovered the bathrooms/showers were only open 8am-8pm. An inconvenience for us, but tolerable for the last two nights of our journey. However, the men’s room was often locked even during the “open” hours, which was especially frustrating for my husband and son. We later discovered many other campers had the code to the bathrooms which they could use any time of day or night. Ultimately, this issue was more than inconvenient, it was insulting that some campers were not allowed to use the bathrooms. We will not stay here again.
On a whim
While driving into Durango finding a place to stay overnight this time of year (November) was a blessing. The website would not let me book our stay because it was within 24 hours. I called and there was one spot open. We arrived and were escorted to our spot. There was tree removal and fall clean up happening. The facilities were clean and the dogs Loved the Huge dog park. The views are beautiful. It is expensive but we are happy to have found a place.

Nice park, but not fond of the "big rig sites" A-B
Very nice campground overall and staff is very nice as well. Its only aboht 15 minutes from the Durango train, which was awesome, and has nice ammenities, though the cafe and pool are closed now (oct). Its a pretty expensive park...big rigs are regularly 79.00 and they did discount it 8.00 per night for off season, but all the big rig sites line up along the entrance/exit and people are arriving as late as 8pm which is really obnoxious when your eating dinner listening to rig after rig and car after car. Also, not all big rig sites are created equal. All are buddy sites, so you can face a friend, and all but ours (A-B) have a nice grass area...we have gravel and are closer to "our buddy" who we dont happen to know...the picnic tables are basically next to each other. We would come back, but would take a back in next time so we arent so close to the entrance.

Perfect location and great staff!
Great location! The happiest, kindest staff! Doug and Judy truly make you feel like a part of their little RV park family. They have fun activities, like trivia nights and dog parades! They even have prizes! Love all the trees, waterfall trout pond, volleyball, tetherball, cute convenience store & humongous 2 acre dog park and even dog bathing station! The pull-thru spots are so great and especially spacious for big rigs! You must try the pizza by George & Theresa too! The location is perfect too! You’re just far enough from town so there’s no hustle and bustle, but not too far to drive in and experience all the awesomeness Durango has to offer! It’s only about 5-10 minute drive. We will def be back!! Thank you for a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
The town of Durango is only about a 5-10 min drive and the Silverton train station is there, as well as soo many little shops, restaurants and breweries! There was even a little county fair while we were there for Memorial Day. Definitely try the Breckenridge Beer Garden at the Double Tree. You can sit outside, right on the river and watch rafters go by while you eat.

We stayed here for 12 days cause of center location to see it all. Hardware store up the road for any small fix-its. If you had a long day playing tourist order pizza and they will deliver it to your RV

Great place to stay
Quiet and clean place strategically located to everything you would want to see in the area. A little pricey ($350 per week after tax) but you get what you pay for. Clean restrooms and laundry, everything has stayed open through Covid.
Literally- words can’t describe
Our family vacation destination- would provide 6 stars if a could. Main features- pool, great family play areas, huge lots and shaded lots- not really a bad spot. Pond, 2 Acre dog park- beautiful sites and quick drive to town or off-road. We stayed here twice because a bad experience in Silverton
VERY CLEAN PARK
I stayed here because It was closest to downtown Durango and I was bushed and ready for sleep. After staying 14 days in the backwoods, it was nice to get shower in an actual building.... but I must admit, after paying nothing to park and stay in the woods for 14 days, it hurt my feelings to pay $75 for one night here.
On the down side, it is an Upscale RV park that if your not in a prevost bus, you are out of place. The whole time I was putting up, I was getting funny looks for my popup a frame trailer. Either way, they were nice people in the office/restaurant and have a nice rv park. Little too much $$ for my pocket book.
