Stone Creek RV Park

Stone Creek RV Park sits alongside Interstate 35 in Schertz, accommodating RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups on both pull-through and back-in sites. The park features asphalt roads with gravel sites, some equipped with small picnic shelters on concrete pads. A creek runs through the property, though reviewers note it was dry during winter visits.

The facility includes two swimming pools, a jacuzzi, and separate dog parks for large and small pets. A laundry room with new machines serves campers, though WiFi reception remains limited and cell service can be poor. The park accommodates both overnight visitors and long-term residents, with daily sites maintained at the front while monthly rental areas toward the back show more wear.

"Good location along I35," notes one reviewer, highlighting the park's convenience for travelers between New Braunfels and San Antonio. However, campers should expect train noise from heavily used railroad tracks adjacent to the property, with frequent whistles throughout the night. A nearby horse stable contributes noticeable odors to some sites. Weekend visitors may also hear gunfire from a nearby shooting range, though activity stops before evening. For additional camping choices in the region, check places to camp around Cibolo.

Reserve ahead during busy travel seasons, as the park's highway access makes it popular with passing RVers.

Visitors often highlighted excellent dog parks and clean amenities like pools and laundry facilities. However, noise from adjacent trains and leveling issues with gravel sites were common concerns noted by guests.

Just off i35

Super easy to get to off i35 between New Braunfels and San Antonio. The park is nice but could use some updating. The daily sites are up front and those are kept up, but if you walk around the park the ones near the back that are mostly monthly rentals could use some TLC. The playground was okay but the dog parks were nicer. It was cold so we skipped the pools but they have two.

We stayed three weeks here after being caught in the Texas Arctic vortex. They were very accommodating considering we extended our stay twice. The location is super convenient and about 30-45 minutes from the River walk.

Best price around the area

Got there on a Sunday and there is a gun range close, you can hear the shooting but stop before night. nice jacuzzi and swimming pool. Very nice large and small dog parks. Sites are not well level but most of them have a gazebo. Just make a one night stop for rest and I will stay there again, close to walmart, gas stations and restaurants.

Average RV Park

Good location along I35. Park has asphalt streets, but gravel sites. Mix of pull through & back in sites. Some sites have a small picnic shelter on a concrete pad. Full hookups with all utilities working as expected. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice, clean laundry room with new machines. Wifi is unsecured & so slow it’s useless. Phone reception is also poor. Located next to a horse lot with several horses so the odor is strong. (Our site was very close to horse stable). Park sits next to heavily used railroad tracks, frequent train whistles at all hours. There are many full timers, some units in need of upkeep with junk piled around campers. There was quite a bit of litter discarded along the creek that runs through the park (which was dry during our visit January 2021).
