good stop & stay

campground being remodeled so bathhouses were a little walk away but not too inconvenient. pool was also closed for now BUT overall cute location. did park on site 59 (pull through) but was SUPER unlevel. cute pond and amphitheater too! has laundry as well.

coolest part about this spot is that it’s about a 10 min drive into Catawba college town which was a super nice area for us being younger. perfect mix of Boulder & Philly :)

hosts were SUPER friendly and nice :)

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location

We stopped here after landing in Charlotte and getting a rental RV. The staff and people staying here are so friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful and they have goats which are adorable. We have a pond view location.

First time here

This campground is beautiful! Plenty to do from petting zoo, fishing, live music, etc.. Staff was amazing and made our family feel welcomed from the start DEFINITELY booking again soon

Nice place to stay a while

Stayed at Carolina Rose for a few months over the winter. Very friendly staff, and VERY reasonable rates. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when I'm in the area.

Great Family Camping

We stayed here while visiting friends who lived in the Salisbury area and stayed in Cabin 1. The cabins are REALLY nice, I was very impressed. We walked the RV sites and spotted several that were also very nice as well. They each seemed to offer a decent bit of privacy, which is nice. The pool was well located but busy, which was okay all the families and kids were having a great time and that was so nice to see. I enjoyed sitting near the pond and just watching the ducks swim. The best part was getting fresh eggs from the check-in store each morning... And I mean... Fresh Eggs. Really cool place.

New owners. Name change

Now Carolina Rose Campground. Love lot 59 and 60. Super close to bathhouses and pool.. gets super crowded on holidays... great place to camp

Such a cute and clean family campground

Such a great little campground, nice wooded sites, lake, playground, pool and bonefires and djs on holidays. trails and fresh eggs in camp store from chickens on site. Goats and a horse also live here.

Great stay

Loved my stay here with my family and extended family. NC was a perfect place to hold a family reunion. We camped here and 2 other places, and loved every second of it. We did some awesome hikes nearby, and also did some biking. The trails were great, as was the weather. NC is such a great state, and I honestly didnt know how much it had to offer outdoors. We loved staying at this campground, and actually had 4 spots with RVS. They had hookups, and water hookups as well. It was perfect for our large family get together. We used the fire pits they provided and cooked dinner over them. It was a little busy because if the summer months, but it was nice we had an RV. It was a little loud because of how many people there were, but once we got inside our RV we couldnt really hear anyone else. They had a great picnic area that was large enough for our family to have lunch. There was also a playground for the younger kids, and a basketball court as well. 1 bathroom on site, but luckily our RVs had bathrooms so we didnt have to use them. There was an awesome lake nearby that we found a cool rock to do some flips off of!

We love this campground

My son is getting married in December in another city. We were looking for a place to stay that would be close to the venue and close to the bride’s family and happen upon this little gem. Full hookups (30 & 50 amp), WiFi and cable. Owners are great - so much so that our entire camping family is going to stay there the week of the wedding. Owners have been very accommodating with putting us all together.

Met several campers who said they stay there all the time on their way to and from Florida. Nice stopping off point.
