Swift Lake Park

Swift Lake Park operates as a first-come, first-served municipal campground with a money drop box at the entrance loop. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings, with electric hookups available for RVs. The campground sits adjacent to Swift Lake, where campers can launch kayaks and watch fish, turtles, and other wildlife from the dock.

Bathroom facilities provide showers but feature thin curtains rather than doors on stalls. A paved trail connects the campground to town, while a small playground serves families. Sites are spaced with shrubs between them, though one spot sits directly next to the airport fence. For campers wanting more secluded options, Garvin County Park provides an alternative west of the area.

Lake view with in budget

Nice campground just outside of town. Has several sites with a view of swift lake large enough to float around in a kayak. Sites are well spaced with shrubs between sites. All have picnic table & fire ring. Bathroom & shower are in need of some new paint & a bench. Otherwise very usable.

Pond FULL of Wildlife

This campground is FCFS, with a money drop box at the beginning of the camppad loop. There were only 2 spots left when we arrived and wound up with the spot right next to the airport fence. There were terrible bugs while we were there but we spent hours on the dock watching the fish, turtles, and muskrat? swimming around right near the dock. There is also a small playground and a paved trail that takes you into town. Bathroom was clean but not very private with only thin curtains rather than doors on the stalls.
