Pocatello KOA operates year-round with full hookups for RVs up to 85 feet, though individual sites lack sewer connections. Campers use two dump stations located behind the camp store. The gravel sites sit mostly level with mature trees providing shade, though some visitors need leveling blocks for complete stability.
The campground fills nightly during peak season, with sites positioned close together offering minimal privacy. Reviewers consistently note the cleanliness of facilities, including hot showers and well-maintained restrooms, though some bathroom stalls lack proper locks. A small fenced dog park allows pets to exercise off-leash, while children can use playground equipment that several families describe as vintage-style with features uncommon on modern playgrounds.
WiFi reaches throughout the campground with adequate speeds for basic internet needs. Cell service remains reliable across most sites. The camp store stocks basic groceries and souvenirs, plus an ice cream machine that draws positive reviews. Indoor recreation includes pool table, ping pong, and foosball. "Overall a good clean campsite to hold you over for a day or two," notes Daniel C..
The location works well for travelers needing overnight stops or extended stays in the Pocatello area, with convenient access to town services and campgrounds around Pocatello for those exploring regional options.
