This free dispersed camping area sits along a dirt road east of Seligman, accessible via multiple dirt tracks that branch off from the main route. Campers can choose from several spots, including a dirt loop road and bays designed to allow RVs to pass each other. The gravel pit at the bottom of the dip marks the farthest point of the camping area.
Train horns sound regularly from over the ridge, though road traffic remains minimal except for brief periods around 10 PM and 6 AM. Unfortunately, previous visitors have left considerable trash scattered over the cliff edge and toilet paper in the surrounding bushes, though the camping spots themselves can be cleaned up. The area works best for tent campers and smaller rigs seeking a no-cost overnight stop near campgrounds near Seligman.
