The dispersed camping area spans multiple elevation levels along a dirt road system, with higher spots providing views across agricultural fields below. Power lines cross portions of the area.
Campers report good cell service from elevated positions, though military aircraft from nearby bases create periodic noise overhead. The road requires careful navigation, as private property borders the initial canal crossing before reaching the designated BLM camping zones. Big rigs can access the site, and both campfires and pets are permitted throughout the area.
