Peach Queen Campground

Accessible via Interstate 65 with quarter-mile proximity, Peach Queen Campground provides pull-through gravel sites with full hookups for RVs up to 60 feet. The campground operates year-round and accommodates both overnight travelers and extended stays, with sites arranged in an open field layout that offers quick highway access.

Sites feature gravel surfaces with electric, water, and sewer connections, though several reviewers note the gravel coverage varies across different areas. The campground includes a swimming pool with slide, fenced dog park, playground equipment, and covered pavilion for weather protection. WiFi service is available, while cellular coverage depends on carrier and specific site location. Farmer Family describes the facility as "nothing fancy but its clean."

Most sites lack significant shade and are positioned close together, creating a compact camping environment. The bathhouse provides restrooms and showers, though maintenance quality has varied according to visitor reports. Staff assistance includes late self-check-in options and support for full-time RV residents who make up part of the campground community.

Rates run $35 per night including tax, making this a practical overnight stop for travelers heading to Gulf Coast destinations. For campers preferring more spacing, Chilton County Minooka Park offers a different camping experience just north of the area.

Great campground with friendly staff

The staff here is wonderful. They've helped us adjust to full time RV Life over that past 4 months. The residents here are very friendly as well.

They have a dog park at the front and a large field in the back door our dog to run and play. The pavilion is also great for getting out, even in rainy weather.

The pool is amazing. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to rest and our kids love the slide.

Great stopover!

I stayed for 2 weeks but can see how this park would be great for stop overs! The owners were fantastic to work with, only deducted a star because the bathhouse was down while I was there.

Don’t Stay Here

We needed a campground close to the hwy for a quick overnight stay. Big mistake. It smelled like dead animals so badly that we had hold our breath at times bc of the smell. We thought the playground would be good for our girls, but between the overgrown weeds and the smell, they couldn’t even enjoy it. In addition, they have a huge pool that looks like it could be nice. However, the pool light was disconnected as a hole remained where it should have been. My husband was quick to take us back to the camper where we stayed for the rest of the evening. The campground needs a lot of work. I’m not a picky camper by any means, but this was absolutely terrible.

Peach Queen campground

When we arrived the grass was very tall. They did mow today. Just not my site as we were occupying it. It has full hook ups. Not very much shade. My site has none. The bathrooms are dirty. The pool is a nice size. It could use a vacuum. There is a decent size jungle gym at the playground. My 8 year old son has been having a great time playing with other kids there. There is a nice sized fenced in dog park. There is a swing to sit on. However, it’s all busted up and not usable. There is a nice sized pond. I haven’t been to it yet. There is supposed to be wifi. I don’t see the network when searching for it. We have our own hotspot. It runs on the t mobile network. Except, we don’t have a signal here. I haven’t met anyone who runs this place. Honestly if my son wasn’t having as much fun playing on the playground we would’ve left after the first night. We booked 3 nights as to break up our drive. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Not getting better !

They must do a good business. The sites are very close together. Site may have been stoned at one time but now its two tire paths. There is wifi but haven’t tried it. Tmoble signal is not bad. Dish depends on your site.

Great resting spot

Its right off the interstate and easy in/out. They have late self check for any spot open. Nothing fancy but its clean. Tables were only at a couple of end-row spots. We stayed one night and only saw the staff once to pay heading out, friendly people. Didn't use the showers, restrooms, or pool, but saw them. Its nice for what it is: flat gravel spots in a field, all pull thru, most are close together but long enough for a bigger rig. Wifi worked. The gravel is thin in a lot of spots. Not much there to see but they have a new play ground. Its quick, clean and 35 a night tax included. It will be our stop on the way to the beach. We didn't notice any noise, but the ac was running
