Foggy but nice trails

Pretty, dark, and close to the beach(but no beach access) is how I describe this campground. Set about a mile off 101 between the highway and the dunes, the campground is in a coastal forest(translation- lots of hammock opportunities). I liked the sites on Loop A the best as the loop is kinda off on its own. You do have the group sites on this loop, but even the group site is fairly isolated so you shouldn’t hear it much. There is access to hiking trails within the campground(some really nice host put maps at the info kiosk) as well as more trail access a mile further up the road at Holman Vista. A local told me to head towards Florence for better beach access. The dunes here provide lots of off roaring opportunities and there are outfitters all up and down 101.
