Favorite Campground on Road to Needles Visitors Center

Stopped here to do a little recon for a future trip.  Definitely will stay here next time we are in the area.

Hamburger Rock is a BLM campground located in the Indian Creek Unit of Bears Ears National Monument. Sites 1- 9 are at the base of the Hamburger Rock geologic feature. This campground has easy access to the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, which is less than 7 miles to the west. Hiking and rock climbing are also popular activities in the area. Be sure to check out the ancient petroglyphs at Newspaper Rock, which you drive past about 18 miles before reaching Hamburger Rock Campground.
