Nice Ammenities
This is a pretty decent park. There are a lot of amenities, clean facilities, and concrete pads. The sites are pretty close together so if you like your space, this probably isn’t the best place. You can’t burn firewood but you can have a propane fire pit. There is a plant nearby so it kind of smells. And there’s a decent amount of road noise since it’s in town. It also backs up to an RV sales and service place which I think is pretty convenient! It’s gated too, which is also pretty great! Overall good spot and would definitely stay again.
No called Sun Outdoors Salt Lake City
Big urban park, concrete sites, minimal grass, a lot of long term folks. WiFi was ok bathhouses we’re new and clean and should have been adequate for the size of the park but a number we’re constantly locked, I assume to minimize cleaning costs. Maintenance is now what I would expect from a top notch park.
Good place to stay
Well kept grounds with friendly staff. All sites have concrete pull throughs. All amenities were clean and well maintained. Wifi issues connecting, didn’t work. Has pet areas, pool, play areas in which were all clean and usable.
Great place hidden Gem
Very helpful employees, clean and pet friendly. Can see mountains all around you. Great WiFi and good water. Three dog parks and dog washing bay.
Fancy for the price!
We were looking for a reasonably priced spot to get some laundry and other RV tasks done before heading into the wilderness for the week. We were greeted with a gated, calm, friendly park. The facilities are impeccable and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!
beautiful campground
Don’t let the name fool you. This campground is beautifully maintained. The office staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pull though sites make it super easy to get in and set up. Security gate offers extra sense of safety. The access from the highway was easy and convenient. Definitely recommend.
It’s tight!
These sites a so close to each other. We only stop here to stay the night.
WiFi is ok-phone hotspot is better.
Staff is great.
Safe and clean RV park in North SLC
Convenient location right off the highway with full hook ups and nice paved sites. Dog areas, playground, games, and a pool. Easy access to the Jordan River Trail for running, biking, or sunset walks. You’ll need to drive to get to restaurants, grocery stores, and ~20 min drive to downtown but overall not a bad spot to camp out for a few days.
Good for living not camping
It’s for full time staying mostly but the amenities were nice on our trip we did laundry and got to shower in their nice showers😂 bit expensive 59 a night
Clean, convenient, but not a “campground”.
I would say 75% or more of the spots are full time rv’ers. Mostly everyone is friendly, sites are clean, but kids and barking dogs everywhere! Spaces aren’t as small as I feared they’d be after reading reviews. I guess it depends on your rig size. We have a small 21’ travel trailer and the pull through spots are perfect!
Both my neighbors are permanent residents. (actually everyone around us is) The one just south of me has been sawing wood since we arrived. It’s now 8:30pm and very much annoying.
The gnats and mosquitos are are just as annoying as the permanent kids in the park.
The playground is clean, a good sized one, but overrun with unsupervised kids.
Wake and Head North
Coming from Las Vegas to go to Montana to visit family, Salt Lake City is a great middle stop. We (3 kids, 3 adults, 3 dogs, and a cat) found Pony Express and were extremely pleased. The GPS carjacked us and the resort was a bit difficult to find but once we did it was excellent.
Things we loved:
- Very clean and well kept
- Flat, level parking spots - many pull-throughs
- Very quiet
Not so much:
- The sites were very tight

Great site
Great site for your rv. Nothing to complain about
Great clubhouse
Really nice RV resort near Interstate. Pull throughs or back in on paved level sites. Picnic table. FHU. Sites typically close with grass area seperating. No shade or privacy. Narrow interior roads. Nice bathhouses with private shower/toilets. Wifi and cable. Great play area. Bikes available including kid sized. Paved 80 mile bike trail along Jordan River. Giant chessboard. Nice pool area. Amazing clubhouse with pool table, foosball, large TV, comfy chairs, guest kitchen area. Complimentary coffee, tea and fresh made cookies. Friendly, helpful employees!

RV Heaven
My god-father and mother come into town yearly and stay at this location in their 5th wheel. The facility is spotless! Seriously, the staff keep the entire grounds in great condition. There are dozens and dozens of spots that fit just about any size RV or 5th wheel. Every spot has water and electric hookups, picnic tables, and enough grass space to setup pet pens.
There are several different amenities including a pool, playground for the kids, life-size chessboard, and a mini-breed dog park!
