Easy to find
It was easy to find, camped next to Creek, not very busy, so it was pretty quiet

Creek view
I've boondocked before without using an app. This is very nice. Happy that I used Dyrt
Beautiful camp ground by the creek.
Excellent campground with a view of Zion.
Good night near Zion
Good clean spot to stay near Zion. Lots of spots which means you're somewhat close to other campers (less privacy than we would like), but you get some beautiful views of the canyon. Would do again if looking for a free place to stay near Zion!
Close to Zion, shaded areas near a small creek
It was a nice place to park, very buggy with a small creek nearby. There were nice spots but the majority were right next to your neighbors.
Loved this spot!
Stayed here on a Sunday and Monday night, there were hardly any other people and the sites are really private so couldn’t even see them. Tons of spots. We chose one close to the creek where we could easily walk down, the kids loved playing in it and finding tadpoles/crawfish/minnows. No cell signal most of the time but here and there would catch a bar (Verizon). It’s all red sand so prepare to be dirty, but the running water of the creek helped a lot. The flies were kinda bad in the morning, didn’t have issues with bugs at night and it got chilly, like 57° perfect for tent sleeping. Super close to Zion NP. High clearance helps but we were fine getting through with the minivan. I’d definitely stay here again.

Shaded by the creek!
Stayed next to the creek plenty of shade. Lots of little places to pull of, rather full but I was able to find a place as I arrived before dark. Would definitely stay again.
Good free option
I don’t expect much from free sites. Half of this area has shade, and half is exposed. (You get what you get)
Fires are allowed, but it’s a windy area so be careful.
Beautiful site by the water
30-40 spaces under the tree canopy and by the water. Some further away without shade. Overall fantastic place, and very clean!

Decent spot
Little crowded, but the spaces are dispersed enough. Sandy and right off road. Road noise minimal if any after dark.
BLM Land camping outside of zion
This is our favorite spot yet on our trip! We were at the site right when you enter but it was a perfect fit for our truck, our tent and there was 3 tree lined up perfectly for our hammocks. We loved staying here , pretty private given how packed it can get. The views of the mountains and rock formations are gorgeous and there’s a nice creek a short walk into the campsite.
Easy for FWD
Lovely site right off paved road. There was a big puddle at the entrance that was easy to drive around with a low clearance vehicle. No Verizon signal for me.
Secluded spots near a creek
Nice secluded area with bushes and trees between camping areas. Not too many sites for big rigs but we fit with our 40 footer.
lots of open spots
camped for two nights. Great access to Zion. There were a bunch of open sites when we got there (4pm) some were along the stream too. We have a Honda Fit and we’re able to camp just fine. Saw a few smaller pull behinds.
Awesome spot!
This spot was perfect for us. There’s of shade from the trees and a beautiful creek.
We arrived at around 3pm and no one was around. By 5pm a good amount of people started driving in a picking their spots. We chose a spot right at the beginning of the road so I’m not sure how close the other campsites are to each other, but we could hear groups on both sides of us talking most of the evening (we didn’t mind, it’s just something to be aware of if you’re looking for a space that’s more quiet).
We walked over to the other side of the creek and there were a bunch of sites over there as well.
It’s about a 20 minute drive from the Zion entrance in Springdale, and about a 10 minute drive from the left fork north creek trailhead.
No campfires are currently allowed due to wildfire risk, so all the fire pits are filled. Make sure you bring a propane stove if you plan on cooking anything!
Overall, super pretty!
Checks all the boxes
Great to have access to so many close trails, fire pits, and the refreshing creek!
Shady creek with superclean porta-potty!
We found a lovely spot by the creek between two sets of trees (East and West) so we had shade all day. Great spot to cool down after or before Zion.
Prepare for wind
Not a lot of coverage from high wind! Good spot not far from Zion, but just be ready to get lots of wind down here.
Great convenient dispersed spots
The road in off the main road was very rutted out from heavy use when it was wet but my jeep made it fine. Shaded site that also protected from the wind. Well used but clean. Many creek side spots. Sites not. Umbers but just looked for the fire ring.
Great spot for dispersed camping close to Zion and Kolob
Sweet Sandy camp sites, lots of space and even more if you and your car can cross the creek (4x4 and clearance recommended). Nice shady spot right be the creek. Awesome to hear the sound of the water running. Road produces sporadic noise but nothing to complain about.
Stream side fun.
It's rocky in places and the dirt roads are narrow in places which could be a problem for bigger rigs but it's doable. Heavily used, some litter problems and the ants are bad but otherwise this place rocks!
Great flat and close spot to Zion
Easy, no problems, lots of space
Amazing camp site
Our favorite camp site to date! We stayed here last year and wished we had more time to enjoy. We stayed right on the sand, near North Creek.
