Marion County Park view
COUNTY PARK campground surrounded by water with a 5thmountain view. Great travel stop off I-24 Interstate hwy. Call and tell them your coming they will save a spot for you. I've always called weeks ahead to reserve a spotthey just write down your name and planned nights to stay with assigned site number. Very friendly. ELECTRIC and WATER w/dump station in park. Shower house has key pad entry lock for campers.

Beautiful setting with some highway noise
Spacious RV sites with water and electric. Level gravel and grass with table and fire ring. Several sites on lakeshore and reasonable prices. Dump station in park

Beautiful view
Clean campground. Awesome view
Great park with views
Was here for cornbread festival. Park is full on the weekend and slowed during the week. Lots to do in the area. Our site was 30 amp but noticed there were some 50 amps as well. The showers in the bathhouses were the only bad point of the park, could really use some maintenance.

Great campsite with a FANTASTIC VIEW!
This campsite offers several locations to choose from to set up camp. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had tons of pressure with hot water. Easy check in after hours. Would highly recommend.
Quick Trip
Great camping area for quick getaway. Clean campground site with easy reservation system. Make plans early, river site lots go quick!
Very peaceful
Some interstate traffic but still very peaceful. Office staff are amazing.
It so hidden gem
One night last minute stay. Wonderful view! We will be back!
Beautiful views
Great campsite if you don't mind being about 150 yards from I-24. No firewood available on site. However, comes with a group of about 80 loons and boat access to the TN River. County Park with monthly and day to day sites.
Typical county park
Overall a nice experience, campers are nice, Host isn’t over friendly, close to everything and a great price. Haven’t had any issues with electrical as some have mentioned. Stayed in site 34, pull through, with our class A towing. There is I-24 noise, but watching the eagles fly and the view beats the noise any day. Would stay here again.

Lovely lake view
Very convenient spot with a nice lake view. The sites are close, but everyone is friendly and courteous.
Nice place too stay a weekend
Nice place to stay a weekend the spots aren't cramped and its right on the lake
Awesome spot for the night
We pulled in around 8pm. The office is straight down the road when you pull in, it's basically a small shack with box out front that you grab an envelope from and then find your spot. Fill out the info on the envelope and add $20 then drop off at the office. We were right along the water, there's power and water at all the sites from what we could tell. Had an amazing sunset and sunrise over the river. I would highly recommend this spot for a quick stay for a night or two.
On a lake, close to highway
We were just looking for an over night stop on a road trip, not far from the highway, we came in late. (Winter) they have a list of open sites posted on the office after it closes, but the numbers on the sites were hard to see in the dark. Restroom had a code lock on them, after a bit I was able to find the site host (camp site to left of bathrooms) and got the code. Bathrooms were well kept, warm shower. The power of the site we backed into didn’t work but after parking there was no going back so check that out before you park. Overall would camp again.
Perfect RV stop
We stopped here for a night and made reservations on the fly. We called at 6:30pm and were told there would be a list of available spots and a drop box for fees. We got in the spot pretty easily and woke up to the most gorgeous view over the water! Cant wait to stop for a couple days on our way back home and explore. Friendly people, very clean bathrooms and showers, great hookups, and quiet!
Cheap, Pretty, and Simple
This is a very simple, very basic park. It's $20/night and you get a spacious spot with a nice view. The dump site isn't the best and there's nothing spectacular about it other than the cost. The restrooms are pretty stretched out to, so you'll want to drive to it but walk depending on your spot. I wouldn't recommend this one for families, but me and some buddies went to this one and it was perfectly fine.
Beautiful lake view
Try to get a campsite on the lakeside, because the view is very nice and it makes it easy to get your boat in the water. They advertise a beach but we never found one. Entrance into the lake is very rocky and slippery and there are a lot of weeds, so better for boating and fishing than swimming. The bathroom was pretty clean. People were friendly. It was pretty crowded on the weekend.
Clean, friendly
RV spots are a little uneven, but spacious. Clean park, regular maintenance. No frills, no sewer hookup, but everything else is nice.
Very nice place.
We had a large site. Picnic table and fire ring. Easy access to water from site and had two boat launches. Building a second bath house while we were there.
Beautiful campsite!
Clean, and well maintained. Tent camping along the edge of the river. Fire pits or grills, picnic tables, clean bathroom, and hot showers. If you are a light sleeper, the traffic noise from the highway might be disturbing. Good fishing. It was a nice overnighter on our way North.
Beautiful amenities for things to do if active.
swimming, soccer, baseball, boating, disc golf, para course all right here. Water and electric at site and dump site (didn’t use). Monthly rentals made the campground as a whole feel less appealing but, staff and grounds men were friendly and welcoming and geese and cranes were beautiful. At 20. it was a nice stop for a night.
Water /Power pretty views, fireworks and loud Neighbors
There are 3 sections to this campground. 1. on the water by boat launch, 2. tent campers on the hill, 3. left before campground entrance. We went through 1 and 2 and decided to have picnic at day use and drive on, then saw people going to the left and it was much quieter and more space between spaces. Water and electric for 20. a night with a 10% senior discount. No alcohol allowed stated on signs but noises up till midnight and fireworks makes one wonder. Felt safe, and enjoyed our space in back. bath houses could use some deep cleaning but would defiantly stop again if passing through.
Weekend on the water
Affordable.... could be a little better maintained. Overall pretty good for a weekend get a way.
great little campground.
my family and i frequent this campground many time during june, july and august. we put our boat in here and spend the weekends on the river. not the nicest place in tbe world. but its quite and beautiful.
Beautiful view as long as you are looking at the water
Mot that the campground is terrible, it just isn't much to look at. Our site was on the water and the view was awesome. I worried that there would be a lot of noise because it's so close to I-24 but there wasn't. The sites are well spaced. Ours was extra long. There are electric and water hookups. The price was $20 so it was a great value. The camp host was very nice and responded to my Facebook messages quickly.
The bath houses were horrible. The one near us had one toilet and one shower with little curtains across them. The toilet was clean but no way would I use the shower. We were only here one night on our way to the GSMMP.
