Convenient but not our vibe
When we visited, there were three sections to this facility: an RV Park, an annex, and a dry camping area with plans to expand in the future. When we first pulled in and I saw the price of $31.96 per night, I thought it was very reasonable but then I discovered that was for the dry camping area, which was a paved parking lot, so you are paying for a parking space; depending on how crowded this gets, there is NO privacy or separation. Note - I believe these rates have increased since our visit.
The rates for the Marina RV Park are $72.64 per day (including full hookups). The discounted rate for the annex is $53.28 per night. There are discounts for Good Sam and veterans. No tents are allowed.
The staff person in the office was very friendly and answered all my questions. The restrooms and laundry room were exceptionally clean. After the office is closed (or if you do not want to walk through the office), entry is via a keypad. There is also a public restroom nearby.
There are great views of the marina and the Yaquina Bay Bridge and Rogue Ale’s Brewery and Restaurant is right next door. There is also a public fishing pier, but WiFi is limited. The beach is nearby. At the end of April, there were many open spots, but I was told that the place completely fills up in July and August. We passed on this one but it would be convenient for area activities.

Short drive to everything.
Spent 3 nights at the annex part of the RV park (next to the Motel 6). It was convenient since we had family staying at Motel 6. We were a 15 minute drive to Waldport (for crabbing), under 5 minute drive to South Beach State Park for a camp fire on the beach. Overall, it was a good experience. The camping folk in our section were all older retirees that had extended stays.

Kindest staff, great for crabbing
We arrived late and accidentally went to the wrong section. The staff in the morning were super nice and helped us with everything. You are right off the marina and could crab and fish to your hearts content.
Great spot
Absolutely love it here. Nice beach to stroll or walk out on to the jetty. Great year round

Very poor cell service and WiFi
Easy location to get into, parking lot setup. No trees/ natural shade. Cell service with Verizon is surprisingly weak and the WiFi is worse.
Rv park and marina
RV park and marina- essentially a big parking lot, no privacy. But they aren’t picky with car campers, I’m in a sedan and saw other car camping folks and wasn’t hassled. ~$30 to dry camp, only rule no tents. YMCA style bathrooms, free cold showers, hot showers are $1.50 for 5 mins, in quarters. Laundry and ok wifi. Next to Rogue Brewery and there’s a tap room by the bathrooms. Walking distance to the aquarium and there’s a bus stop in camp for the bus that goes all over town. Nice stay to get a shower and recharge. Female solo traveler thumbs up. Oh and you can hear the sea lions barking up a storm!
Great views of the Bridge and the bay
Beautiful location with amazing views of sunsets and the bridge. Rogue brewery and distillery is a short walk from the park. The park itself has started to deteriorate. The grass is in need of reseeding and is very sparse and hasn’t had any attention in quite some time. Staff are helpful and friendly. Have also stayed in the overflow area for overnight stays several times. It’s safe and patrolled. You can use you generator.
Clean, Organized and Paved
Nice park! Staff is friendly. Right next to the Rogue Brewery and Bar which overlooks the Port of Newport. They have an overflow lot which isn't that great and near the Motel 6, but the Park is nice. All paved. Good bike riding in the area. Lots of fishermen and areas to take a boat out.

Great Stopover!
We love this spot for a quick stay when we’re heading through Newport. Picturesque view of the bridge, walk to Rogue Brewery’s headquarters, and not to far to the beach and downtown Newport. You can also try you luck at crabbing or fishing off the pier! Newport is home to the Oregon Coast Aquarium - worth checking out while you’re in town too!
