Just northwest of the town of Springer, the lake is stocked regularly with rainbows, and bullheads are also taken. Picnicking and camping are adjuncts to the fishing.

We have sites that are open from April to October (closed November to March) for RVs and tent campers. We are limited to the length of RV’s and we do not have any pull through sites, they are all back ins. All sites have full hook-ups including both 30 and 50 amp service, sewer and water and free wifi. Hot showers and bathrooms are available in our Bath House. Several picnic tables and BBQs are located throughout the park for your use.

Reconnect with nature at our 1670 acre ranch. The unique terrain has several mesas, meadows, and forests. Enjoy magnificent views. The Mora River flows through our property for 2 miles. We are completely off-grid, so the star gazing is world class. This land is home to lots of elk, deer, bears, mountain lions, turkeys, and mountain goats. Explore the old ruins, canyons, and cliffs. Swim/fish in the river. Visit our farm animals. Bring your bikes or rent one of ours! Horseback riding available.

Your lovely campsite comes with plenty of room for your tent and lots of shade. You will be free to roam and wander on the entire 1670 acres, including fishing or floating in the river. We ask that no more than 6 people and 2 tents maximum be used per campsite. Your site has a heavy-duty metal fire ring and swivel grate for grilling. A picnic table is provided. The ranch is off grid, so it gets very dark at night. Flashlights and other lanterns are strongly encouraged. There is a porta-potty and an outdoor, gravity shower at the main basecamp.

You will have access to the entire ranch. You are encouraged to bring mountain bikes or you can rent one of ours. Horseback riding excursions are available if scheduled ahead of time. We also have a few groceries available, such as charcoal, snack foods, drinks, etc. The nearest gas station is 45 minutes away. Please check in before sunset because the roads leading to the property are very dark and isolated. Cell service is intermittent. The county road is also made of loose gravel, so driving your nicest car is not recommended, unless you're ok with possible dents, cracks, or paint chips.

One of our primary missions is to keep this land as undisturbed as possible; therefore, we are a TRASH FREE campsite. So whatever trash you bring in, you MUST takeout with you. Otherwise, you will be charged a $50 fee.
