Amazing!
Marian is such a sweetheart. They are volunteers here, so they change periodically, but Marian has basically been here the entire time we’ve been here. He’s a cool dude! The campgrounds are beautiful and spacious. You have an exclusive fire grill and picnic table at your campsite, and it’s huge here for parking. Plenty of space for kids to ride bikes or scooter, or explore. Near a few hiking trails and several lakes, it’s incredibly peaceful to fall asleep to the crickets and frogs and wake to the plethora of assorted birds singing in the morning. Ten out of ten will definitely be here again. Only has electric on site. But has water to fill up tanks and a dumping station for tanks and trash. $20 a night. 6 days for $120 and the 7th day is free. Really enjoyed staying here.
Felt very safe and host was amazing
We were having a hard time finding an RV park since it's the off season. This place popped up and we've been so blessed. The host was so kind and helpful to us new timers. The park is a giant loop with many potable water fountains around. The dumping station is at the front of the park. We felt super safe letting our kids roam the park. We will definitely use this park again if in the area!
Large RV Pads with Trails all around
I was only going to stay for a week but extended to the 2 week max. I like to run in the morning and take my son in stroller for a few miles in the afternoon and the well groomed & paved trails were perfect. The campground hosts were great and informed on the area. The potable water is spread out across the campground but I only had to make a few trips with my 6gal jugs during my 2 week stay. Dump station at the entrance is really close to sites 43-45 since the campground is a large loop.

Great overnight stop
Nice place only stayed one night. Sites have cement pads with electric service only. Water spickets to fill fresh water and a dump station. There was a dumpster that I used, didn't pack out my trash? Great for a quick overnight stop.
Good affordable spot
30/50 amp Black water dump onsite/no individual hookups Can fill water tank/no individual hookups No showers
Full bars for T-Mobile & Verizon signal
No showers
This is a very very nice campground. They have plenty of clean open spots. Not a lot of shade. Nice playground and fishing was super fun. My kids loved it and we would camp here again if not in a pop up with no shower.
Spacious, beautiful & best volunteers EVER!
We had a fantastic time at this rv location!! Lots of trees, the spots where HUGE! Nice picnic tables….easy access for water & dump area.
Fire flys all over! BEAUTIFUL LOCATION & the PRICE❤️
Hidden gem in Omaha
This campground is really a wonderful spot in the middle of a largely residential area. The location is great - 20-30 min from everything Omaha has to offer. The campground is spacious, affordable ($16/night), and has great reception with ATT and Verizon. It has convenient access to the Walnut Creek Lake recreation area and trail, which is quite spectacular given it's location in such a developed area. The camp hosts were kind and very informative. I would gladly stay here again. Note: get there EARLY, even during the week, if you want a spot! We arrived on a Monday and were lucky to secure one of the last spots.
Beautiful but construction nearby makes it noisy
It's a beautiful campsite electric hookups water at a pump down the hill and a dump there too, but the area is expanding and there's houses being built just over the property line and it can be noisy in the mornings
Great location in Papillion ,Ne
Very friendly, electric hook ups only. Can fill water and has a dump station. First come , no reservations.
A Nice Park close to the City
Walnut Creek is a first come, first served camping area. The park has different activities available to families. There is a large paved path that goes all the way around the lake, while also connecting to the greater trail system in the Omaha metro area. There are singletrack trails available too. They range from pretty simple unpaved paths to more technical areas with steep inclines and drops.
Don't discount it
This lake in Papillion, Nebraska is a great little lake. Probably one of the best in metro area of Omaha. The fishing is always as well as the kayaking is as well, (especially novice like myself). The birdwatching as well as the wildlife is abundant. Honestly if not for the city noise you could forget your in a city. The campground is strictly for rv camping, and is very nice and clean. It is a perfect extremely short get away for a rv camper. Or possibly be that camper relative visiting from out of town. They have nice fishing accesses, playgrounds and picnic areas. This park I believe was done well from the city of Papillion.
