Best resort!
We had an amazing time here! The views can’t be beat and to have adult saunas and hot tubs is 👍🏼👍🏼! The on-site restaurant was good, drinks from the airstream were excellent and the nightly live music was great! Proximity to the park and shopping in Kalispell or Whitefish was close too! We’d definitely visit again!

Best koa ever !
Clean bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. The landscaping and flowers are lovely. Live music every night during peak season - so don’t stay here if you want something quiet. Beer , ice cream and restaurant on site.
Great family park
We stayed in an Rv site with a tent site. It was perfect for our 3 generations of campers. The grandkids loved the pool and the Gaga ball pit. Kids loved the music each night. Grandparents liked the tie die and ice cream shop! We loved the proximity to the west gate of Glacier. The park is very well kept. We used laundry and showers.
Nice campground but noisy
Perhaps the nicest KOA we have ever stayed at! Clean bathrooms, Ice cream, cafe, adult beverages. Our only complaint was that there was live music every evening and the sound bellowed across the campground.

Such a great campground!
1000% chance we will return here. There’s a reason this is the #1 KOA in the country. Super clean, big sites, close to the national park, and great amenities.
The Best KOA Out There
I am reviewing site 26 which is a deluxe patio pull-through. It is on the end and has a concrete patio with gas grill and umbrella covered patio table with 6 chairs. It is next to the laundry, restroom, and showers. This site has a small corner with grass (great for a quick dog potty break). The site also has a small campfire area off to the side. The campground is well taken care of and great common areas. Behind the registration office is a common area where evenings may host live music. A small restaurant is there as well as an airstream turned into a bar is a great place to sit and hear the music.
A great place to relax and enjoy.
Very nice but not camping
The facilities are modern, clean and comfortable. Best site wide WiFi I have experienced anywhere. Large pool and adult only pool. Only complaint (for us and our preferences) was that with a restaurant, live music and more we didn’t feel like we were camping. Our site had a steady flow of traffic and dust.
Safe, family friendly, resort-like
This campground is large and very safe. There is water, bathrooms, showers, laundry, pool, a restaurant, I’ve cream, a small general store and many places for kids to play. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly answering any questions you would have about Glacier. Very close to the West entrance! We stayed a group campsite, don’t expect a “in the woods” experience it feels more like a park. The Mountain View’s are stunning and amazing!
Great Visit!!
Super close to Glacier National Park, amazing views and amenities! Wifi worked great for majority of it. But there is still some service with Verizon if it isn’t working well.
I honestly wish I was staying a little longer to enjoy it more. I will definitely come back!
Great location for Glacier NP - family and dog friendly
Great amenities onsite. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. The bathhouse near us was a dated design style but very clean and well stocked. Lots of families with kids onsite, I can see why with all the great amenities. During off season kids are allowed to swim in adult pool and hot tubs. Great spacious off leash dog park onsite. A second smaller K9 park onsite was still nicely maintained. It’s snug, so unless you pay for more spacious sites expect to be close to neighbors. Some of the cabin renters were loud with radios blaring but they were on the opposite side of the park so we didn’t report the noise. Plenty of supplies available at store. Some of the sites had lovely views of the mountains. The nature trail at the KOA was very muddy and some sections had such large mud holes that you couldn’t avoid getting your shoes wet. They should put some gravel or something back there. Just be prepared to get your shoes dirty if you walk it. Despite the muddiness, we found it was a lovely nightly loop to walk.
If you plan to drive going to the sun road: make sure it’s open. And be sure and get a reservation/register your vehicle for Glacier/going-to the-sun road if visiting summer 2022. Go eat at Dan d Lion cafe for a crazy savory meal. You won’t believe it’s vegan and gluten free. Insanely good. Great prices in Hungry Horse for souvenirs. West Glacier was definitely the better stay than East Glacier in our opinion. Much more easy access to stores, restaurants, etc. Whitefish MT had the coolest off leash dog park we’ve ever seen! If you have your 4-legged-bff with you - you simply must take your pup to that park (you’re welcome!) Lake McDonald is a great place to see the mountains and take beautiful pictures. You need bear spray if you go hiking anywhere here. Also, no dogs on trails, of course.

Incredible place. Great features.
Had such a great time it was impossible to leave. Provided a level of safety when camping in fall temps
Easy to See Why It's the #1 KOA
Convenitly close to Glacier National Park. This KOA is in beautiful setting and has all the amenities of a hotel, but in the beauty of nature. The staff couldn't be more cordial or excited to share recommendations with you. all the facilities are top repair, and the sites although close by each other are separated by trees. Very lovely place to stay.
Beautiful rv park close to Glacier National Park
Large RV tent campground with beautiful trees in the nature trail feels like you’re in the force but still have amenities for your RV. Some of the amenities that are listed on the KOA are closed as of September 30 but even though we didn’t have them the view were spectacular the peaceful atmosphere was wonderful the first week of October October
Lots of camping options, beautiful spot with lots of nice amenities
My family stayed here in a simple cabin to enjoy some hiking in Glacier. It is very well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The restrooms were in great shape. Our kids loved the ice cream shop and were so excited to go get ice cream after our hikes. The pools are very nice. The Wifi is pretty good but you have to be close to the office to get a signal. One night when we were there they had a group come in and do a bird of prey show which was very enjoyable and a nice way to relax at the end of the day.
We look forward to going back and enjoy time here again.
An awesome surprise
One of the nicest KOA's we have been in. Lush landscaping. Lots of common area. Pool, seperate hit tub area away from the pool (aka grownup space). Laundry, propane, coffee and ice cream shop. Really nice and accommodating staff. A good selection of different size and amenities sites. Well maintained and clean. A camp store. Ice and firewood for sale.. Best of all, right at the West Glacier entrance.
We came in last minute, in AUGUST, looking for not just one but 2 sites. They looked and juggled until they could come up with something.
Fire fighters were stages next door which was very interesting.
Awesome KOA
Easy to get my 42 ft 5th wheel in. Two pools. One family and the other adult. Nice restaurant. This is a resort style park.
August Beauty
Fantastic resort next door to a west Glacier entry.
Great stay
Very clean and well groomed campsites. Very close to West Glacier. Not cheap but worth it for the close proximity to everything.
Glamping!
This is glamping. This is a resort with resort amenities and feels so vacation-y. I enjoyed the heck out of it. We stayed in a Deluxe Kamping lodge with a medium patio and full bath. Linens and bedding provided, partial kitchen (stocked), room for 6. KL3 is at the back of the campground away from the busy entrance and pools—feels nice and private. Beautiful grounds, two pools, and delicious steaks ($) for dinner at the Lazy Bear Cafe. Lots to do and 2.5 miles from the west entrance to GNP. Laundry available; showers and restrooms if you’re in a tent or RV. Busy, but everyone is chill. My kids think we’re in Disney and it’s nice to be able to relax a bit after a disastrous year. Note: Most amenities are outdoors, including the restaurant.
Super nice KOA
This is a fabulous KOA. There is grass at every site with very nice spacing between RVs. Surprised by woods. Adult and family pool, ice cream shop, cafe (super expensive) and any other amenity you want. They have a campground activity every night.
Best camp ground
One of the best camp grounds
Beautiful views & great location
Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains were in site #6, extra landscaping and they are so private and nicely cared for we have roses bushes at our site! There’s live music, pool, ice cream shoppe, Gaga ball, hiking trails and so much more would definitely stay again
Very nice park
This KOA is beautiful and has everything you can need. Pools, restaurant, ice cream stand, etc. Close to Glacier NP.
Great spot to camp
Very nice staff, very clean campground, and they have everything here!
Resort KoA
A beautiful KoA, very well taken care of grounds, friendly staff and many different sites to choose from. We reserved a back in super site and had plenty of room between our neighbors. There was a nature trail behind us that we could easily get to from our campsite. My kids loved the playground and basketball court. The pool was clean. We also took advantage of Scoops ice cream in the evenings. Would 100% stay here again.
Very nice camping to see Glacier
This place is resort level camping. Two pools, two dog parks, hottubs, two shower houses, and fancy restaurant.
Amazing place!
We loved it here. We stayed for 3 nights and we’re bummed to leave. The place was clean and huge! The kids loved the playground, and there was a big family reunion happening while we were there, and we never once felt like the place was packed, it’s that big!

Wow!
Yes it is spendy! Having said that, I had a hard time accepting this is a KOA. Meticulously landscaped, super clean, organized, friendly and helpful staff, great excellent amenities, location, location, location! If I wasn't in the sleeper of a semi truck bouncing around as its being driven by another, I'd give a more detailed description. Trust me, 67 years of age and thousands of miles traveled (RV) -, this was WOW!
To expensive and loud
I stayed here while visiting glacier for a few days and the grounds were so small, right on top of each other, and VERY loud. The people on the office were extremely rude. But there was a fire pit and a lot of things to do of you had kids with you. However it was very over priced and I was very disappointed.
Crowded but not bad
West Glacier KOA
Nice campground, not surprisingly very crowded. Typical KOA, the sites are right on top of each other. Teenagers rudely cutting through your site. The next sites fire pit was 2 feet from my vehicle, I left that window closed so the smoke would not come in. One lane road with vehicles speeding both ways and inexperienced travelers backing ....trying to back into small sites. It was hectic, loud and crowded, though not horrible. There was shade on my “lane”, an adequate trail to walk, though watch out for bikers. A very nice dog park. Two food vendors, one ice cream, (cash) and a “grill” with outdoor seating and grill master. Two pools. One for families and the other adult only (yeah!) with hot tube. New shower house and laundry room. Close to Glacier and other tourist attractions. Reserve WAY ahead!
