Relax and chill
We stayed in site F16. It is close to the main lodge and the cafe.
The showers and bathrooms were very clean.
The campground is about 1 mile from the west entrance of glacier park!
Nice vibe, close to Glacier NP
We really liked this campground. Sites are shady. The cafe serves a good quality and imaginative menu. Hang out at the lodge for WiFi. Staff and other campers were very nice. Only negatives were loud music from a neighboring campground and only 4 showers for each sex for a pretty large campground. Still, the showers were included in the price, so that’s nice.
Great Wooded Spot
We typically avoid private campgrounds. This one though was different. Amazing proximity to the west entrance of Glacier NP (but west side of Glacier NP is basically closed until July 1.) and a 1.5ish hour drive to the East gate and Two Medicine. We have a 25ft camper and the site was more than big enough. The camp sites were very well maintained but still felt like you were out in the woods camping. Good space between sites. Sites have a fire pit(only allow fires in their ring) and we did a water and electric hook up site. Dumping is free or you can pay them to come and dump your tanks on site. There is also a laundry room. We were very impressed.
I cannot wait to come back
Spacious and clean sites. They have many different size spaces all listed on their website. The restrooms have showers, there is a laundry area, they have a little store, and serve food at the cafe. There is a hiking trail, but we didn't get to explore it. This was right outside Glacier National Park. We stayed here to start the Going to the Sun road. At the site, you can opt to have electrical and water hookups if you need them.
Glacier campground
Nice place bathrooms and laundry facilities clean wish Wi-Fi was at cabins and had ice for sale but other then that nice place
Wonderful spot
All around favorite!
Great location. Close to West Glacier, in the woods, and all sites are wooded and have space from one another. We had full hooks ups. Bears frequent area.
Awesome staff—so helpful and willing to give lots of Glacier advice.
No WiFi, no ATT but Verizon worked well.
Hot water in showers, nice bathrooms, great laundry facility.
One of my absolute favorites—highly recommended!

Quiet little Campground
Nice campground off of Hwy 2 a few miles south of West Glacier and the entrance to Glacier NP. Spaces vary from tent sites up to a few that can accomodate 25-30’ trailers. Laundry and shower facilities are clean. Dogs are welcomed, but no specific areas are set aside to let dogs run. Water and electric hookups, and a dump station is located near the entrance. This is bear country, so leave no garbage or food outside during your visit. Owners are friendly and will do everything possible to try and make your stay enjoyable.
Pretty close together
Our site is one of the better ones. We have a separate fire pit area, with kind of a split level effect.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We are rived late missing our first two days of our reservation, and they refunded us the time we did not spend in the site. That is very unexpected. No one should expect that.
The staff went way beyond expectations when helping us deal with our reservation issues, which were fully our responsibility.
West Glacier
All the camp sites have Electric, and water hookups. Some have sewage as well.
There is a dump station, and propane fill up on site. It’s $25 to dump. The sunset cafe in the campground is is nice and has covered and out door seating. The food was lovely.
They have a small gift shop/store on site too!
Make sure you bring an extension cord to hook up your electric just in case you have a short standard cord on your camper.
There are several shower/bathroom station through the campground and kept very clean.
The campground is about a mile away from the main entrance to Glacier Park (West Entrance)
Overall, we loved our stay and will be back!
Laid Back Wooded Park Very Close to Glacier
Lots of amenities, friendly staff, good cell service, and very close to Glacier NP. Only reason not 5 stars is the roads are a bit tight getting into sites. Not big rig friendly.
Perfect tent spots
Quiet, clean, great layouts, dog friendly, close to the park entrance, friendly staff…cannot say enough. Loved it here!

Amazing campground!
My family and I stayed here for 4 days and it was one of the best campground I’ve ever stayed at! The bathrooms were cleaned every day and the location was only a 5 min drive to the entrance to Glacier NP!
Glacier
Wooded sites, very clean, great place to stay
So cute and perfect location
It was right near the west entrance and by Lake McDonald. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The showers were clean and water pressure was good! Will def stay again

Loved this place
Old school, wooded, super close to Glacier. The people working there were amazing. Spoke to the owner. They all had to come out and meet our dog. Very nice place. Our site was a tight fit, but perfect for us. And the rates were very very fair considering the close proximity to Glacier. Nice family run place. Highly recommend.
In the woods
This campground has the best folks working the phones and front desk. They worked so hard to accommodate. If you like nostalgia, you will love this place. It is a throwback. Lots of tree shaded sites. Most are fairly level. The best part is the location to the park.

location is great!
we were given a shorter site because of size of trailer but is was really uneven and tough to level, the site slanted toward the road. we could hardly park our truck in space. ask for bigger space! also dust from gravel roads was awful and people did not respect 5mph speed limit. Limited bathroom/shower facilities for 178 campsites. the hosts were very friendly and helpful. this park is close to glacier gates, we entered the park at 5:30 or after 5pm to avoid ticket fiasco. If you are hiking or wanting to park along the roads in the park then get there early!
Decent Campground, Great Location
This large campground has small sites, close together, but there are trees and it isn't just a parking lot. I was also happy that they do not allow generators at all. It was pretty quiet, although the AC from the RV next to us (running on shore power) went all night and was pretty loud. The restrooms were fairly well maintained, if small for the size of the property, but an outhouse near the restaurant (and our site) was overflowing for the entirety of our 5 day stay, and it STANK! You could smell it at the restaurant too. Garbage dumpsters were also overflowing and definitely made me concerned about wildlife. While it wasn't the best experience, we really were only there to sleep and eat dinner. Being so close the West Entrance to the park made it a great launch point for early morning entry. We didn't have tickets for GTTS Road, so I set an alarm for 5:15a and was rolling into the park by 5:30a. We always had a parking spot at the trailheads and never worried about the ticketed entry. I also have to say the staff was fantastic! They were very booked up but bent over backwards to accommodate extending our reservation, and gave us great advice on which trails would be right for our family.
Great Campground
Glacier Campground is right outside the national park. It has clean bathrooms and many amenities including a outdoor Cafe. The management is very nice and helpful. There are many trees and sites. The only negative is the sites are on the small site. I really enjoyed the wooded setting it pretty quiet.
Nice Place to Stay
The main plus was this campground was only a 5 minute drive from the Western entrance to Glacier NP. The staff was very friendly and gave recommendations for local things to do. Our site had an electrical outlet. The bathrooms were clean and the campground even had an area to wash dishes.
Just wow!
This gem is right around the corner from the west enters de at Apgar and a perfectly quiet, wooded location for camping in any size RV, tent, van, and they also offer cabins. It’s absolutely beautiful. Gravel, mostly level sites offer many trees and lots of space/privacy. Super sweet staff and owner all very helpful and lovely. No sewer hook-ups, but they have a dump at the front of the campground. Water and electric at site. Clean bathroom and shower and laundry room. This is a big fat YES!
Great place so close to Glacier National Park
The price ($30 for tent site) was great for a private campground with showers/running water. The campsites were not that spaced out but somehow it still seemed pretty private with all the trees and different levels of sites on the hills.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great value next to West Glacier
This was such a cute campsite and it’s literally 3 minutes from the west entrance of the park. I ended up staying an extra night, and the staff was super helpful and friendly in accommodating me. An unexpected big plus was the cafe on site! They do great brunch and mimosas in the morning, and excellent barbecue at night. The only drawback was that the campsites are really close to each other. I was on the phone with my mom and she could hear people from the next site over talking at a regular volume. Overall though, I’d be happy to come back and will probably stay here next time I’m by the west entrance.
Perfect for Glacier
This was a cozy campground with AMAZING staff. Spots are a bit small wouldn’t recommend larger than a 30ft trailer. Water and electric (30amp only). Because wall the spots are nestled in the trees you definitely feel like you’ve got you’re personal space. Nice clean showers and laundry. They even have a cute cafe that is open for breakfast and dinner. A hidden gem! Less than a mile from West Glacier entrance. Currently reservations are only by phone but the owner said they were going to online soon. Would stay here anytime we visited Glacier.
Ehh- keep looking for another campground
This campground was a big disappointment for us. If nothing else is available then that’s the only way I’d pick this again.
The campground wasn’t anywhere near full but they had a bunch of us campers shoved in the horseshoe section literally on top of each other. We had difficulty back into the site due to the fact the neighbors truck were all park on the road. We couldn’t even open out blinds because of privacy issues. The sites were so close together. It was worse than being at an RV park where you expect to be neighbor upon neighbor. These sites are in the woods but don’t let that fool you into thinking you’ll have the out in the woods feeling. The site was so slanted and out of level that our leveling blocks couldn't correct it.
The bathhouse was dated, the mens showers had a very awkward community type shower.Wouldn’t stay here again. There are many, many other campgrounds- keep searching and chose a different one- unless you can’t because they are all booked.
Rad!!!!
Just what we needed. So close to Glacier National Park that it’s almost inside. The staff was nice and the grounds are taken care of with pride. The bathrooms are Clean, clean, clean! And the price Rocks. Thank you!!

End of Season Trip
We enjoyed our time at space #H10 for two reasons there was no one right next to us and it was the close of the season so very few fellow campers. Also due to Covid they were spacing everyone far apart, if this wasn’t the case each campsite would have been too close. The sites on Forest do provide more privacy. We will request one of these next time. All in all, it was a nice campground in the woods. There is not a lot of sunlight so it can get chilly. Bathroom was clean, dump station and other amenities were nice too. Best part, perfect location to get to Glacier National Park.
Summercamp Bliss
I am so in love with this campground. As someone who has stayed inside and outside of many national parks, I have never found a steal of a deal like this. For $30 bucks you get access to clean water, dishwashing stations, unlimited hot water showers, flush toilets, fire pits, trash service once a day, cell service (and I have Sprint... if I can get service, you probably will lol), wifi (at the front office), amazing customer service, a cute cafe in the summer season, and the list goes on. They even have huge piles of wood for only $6. usually at places right by national parks, wood goes for 8-10 bucks per pile or box. I haven't found wood cheaper nearby. this camp is Off of the highway so little to no road noise.
It truly feels like you are at summercamp, and even though it is literally only one mile from the park entrance, it does not have that bizarrely ignorant and touristy vibe that most major campgrounds inside national parks has.
I am here in September. The smoke over Glacier NP is terrible and I have not seen even an inch of a single mountain, that is how bad it is. That being said, I am so in love with the campground, I already paid to stay another night. That is how good it is.
Cons:
The sites are close together, you will hear your neighbor. There is not a lot of privacy, but the trees are dense and it didn't feel like I was on top of my neighbor or anything.
There is a train that goes by... frequently. I personally do not mind this as my home and workplace back home are both on a train route and I am used to the sound. I even find it quite comforting. But, I can see how this would bother some people. It is loud and frequent, but I can't really see it being much better at any other nearby campground so that is a general area con, not one specific to this campground.
1 mile from glacier entrance
Great place tucked away from the road. Sites are smaller. Place was clear even the showers. Hot water in the morning not so much at night. If you plan to spend the days in the park this is great spot. Grocery store in 8-10 min drive west into town.
