Easy and felt safe
Great location for the arch or downtown visit. We felt safe in a rough looking area of STL. Big rig friendly. Pay attention to email for check in process and gate code.
Worst experience thus far on our trip
If there was an option for a zero star review then I would put it as one.
Our experience with this rv park was horrible. We attempted to cancel our booking weeks before the booking date by emailing the email listed and received no reply whatsoever.
A week prior to the booking when we received the confirmation we sent another email that we wanted to cancel and received nothing again.
On the day of the booking we tried contacting them again, to no avail. At this point you would be able to tell how frustrated we were.

Be very aware when booking this rv park, go to a KOA or a state park who actually care….
November camping
Found it a good place to unhook and visit the arch. Well worth the stop. Ride to top of arch and museum was fun. Walkable city close to ball park. Only 2 showers. Restroom was clean. Snowed a lilies overnight but warm in RV.

DRAFT KINGS AT CASINO QUEEN RV PARK.
Full hookup sites on a mostly paved RV park. Big rigs fit easily. Some small areas of grass and trees with a dog walking area around the perimeter. Small play area for kids. Clean restroom/showers, but only a few of them. The park is in an industrial area so you can hear trains occasionally as well as the METRA rail. Security rolled through frequently. Your gate code can be used for the pool and gym at the casino in addition to the bathroom and laundry area. Overall a nice place to stay close to St. Louis, we would stay here again.
Close to the Arch!
Close to the arch, that’s why we chose this place to stay overnight. Lots of noise from the interstate and there’s a train that goes by a couple times in the middle of the night, but the view of the arch and downtown St Louis and access to both is fantastic. Definitely wouldn’t stay here more than an overnight stay, but it did the job just fine for what we needed.
Not Ideal
Campground itself seems safe, however, I did not feel safe leaving the campground. Loud trains all night as well as traffic noise - if you are into that kind of white noise you will sleep well, if not, good luck. No grass or shade on the site we stayed in.
Pros - great pictures with the Arch in the background. Easy in and out.
Hot Flat Ashalt Parking Lot
A parking lot more than a campground. No grass, no trees (on south side) - the hook ups are behind you so bring plenty of cord. No one on site, no welcome packet. Do not forget the email providing the gate code or you won’t be getting in.
Clean, Secure Overnight Park
Very clean and secure overnight park just outside of STL. Phenomenal views of downtown and the arch, and fairly easy access to I-55/64/70. Facilities lacked some amenities (only vending machines, convenience store has shut down), but clean, paved, level sites with full hookups throughout.
This place is a dump
Save your money! A) this place is a dump, in a dumpy area… hence the gate passcode and giant fence around the “park.” B) It’s very expensive ($58) for essentially large parking lot with hookups and gravel “sites.” There’s no grass other than the perimeter near the fence, also known as the “pet relief area.” Unless you’re gonna gamble at the crusty looking casino, or are desperate for full hookups in a downtown area, I’d pass. Yes, you can see the arch. No the view is not that great. The casino is in the foreground along with the giant fence, some giant hill that looks like a landfill, etc etc. Do yourself a favor, drive up to an area near the river across from the arch, park, take some pictures, look in awe at the arch and city - spend 30 min gawking - then go camp somewhere else. I shoulda known better. The other reviews here are ridiculous, it’s a dumpy parking lot with the arch in the background. If that’s impressive to you, ok. Writing this review at 4am as a loud train goes by. Which it will about every hour.

My experience at Draft Kings at Casino Queen RV park
I haves stayed at Casino Queen RV Park several times..It’s always very clean and I always feel very safe..it’s easy clean in and clean out…you have to have a code to get into the gate..pets are allowed..the only down side is the train..which runs all night..
Secure parking lot with full hookups
You need a code to get in the gate, so you must register in advance. It was hot in late July and with no trees on the larger sites, it seemed hotter. But the full hookups worked great with no issues. There is train noise but we couldn’t hear it with the air conditioners running.
Safe place with excellent view
Place was clean and well organized and would recommend to anyone. However they do only allow RVS to stay there which is ridiculous. Other than a lot of gun fire going off through the night the place was great.
Recommended
The casino complex was closed due to COVID. Reservations are online and they email you the gate code and WiFi code. Security is proactive in patrols and are friendly and helpful. No frills but a great view of the arch. Centrally located and across the bridge from downtown.
