Loved it!
Cement tv pads. Staff escorted truck to rv slot and ensured we had everything we needed. Quality bathrooms. Friendly staff. $91.00 per night
Great location Friendly staff
This park is kind of pricey even in the winter (we stayed Nov22-Jan23) but it’s Colorado and it’s all pretty pricey. Park staff is super friendly and accommodating. Propane on site makes winter stays easier. The dogs love the trails connected to the park. Very close to the highways for quick escapes to the mountains or heading into Denver, but not too much road noise. Shopping close by and DT Golden is 5 mins away and amazingly unique. We would stay here again.

Great spot/location but very busy
Love this rv park I'm doing an edged stay they are really great. Super busy though for sure so make sure reservations are in. A little pricey but I feel it's worth it with the amenities and staff knowledge and helpfulness also super clean and family/pet friendly

Wonderful one night stay!
We only stayed one night, great location to Red Rock Amphitheater! We loved the pool, unfortunately the hot tub was closed. Staff is top notch!
Dakota Ridge RV Resort
Very nice place and maintained well. Super clean. Spaces are pretty tight and maneuvering takes attention.
RV park in Denver area
I have stayed here a few times. Perfect for when I come to town for a concert at Red Rocks! Be forewarned that there is a lot of traffic noise coming from 2 sides and a bar across the street with bands playing Thursday thru Sunday and loud motorcycles, although not an issue to me. The RV Resort is fantastic with a nice staff, a great pool and awesome showers! The trails that are accessed at the back of the park is a cherry on top!
Shakey Graves @ Red Rocks
Came here for two nights, on a cross country RV Road trip. We were going to Red Rocks for a show.
Place was decent, but the site we were at was loud as there was a metal shop on the other side of a chain link fence. We were in a RV so couldn’t hear the noises unless outside. Otherwise it is a nice little campground. They do stack people in there so don’t expect much privacy. Typical for an in city campground
Good for a quick stop off, nothing more
We stayed here for a week and weren’t very impressed by any means. The front of the park faces a very loud biker bar across the street and the backside which we stayed on butts up to some shop with loud tools/machines a good portion of the day so not a very quiet place anywhere you stay. There are a laundry list of rules and things you can’t do which is always off putting for a campground. There are not many trees so there’s barely any shade so if it’s hot outside there’s really no escape from it. It has laundry but it was the most expensive we’ve seen so far at $3 per wash and $2.50 per dryer load. And they only allow propane fires, not even charcoal grills so for someone who loves a good campfire and to grill on my charcoal grill that was a major negative mark.
We work remotely so good wi-fi is always a bonus but unfortunately this wi-fi was barely usable, even for just using your phone, which is not unusual for a campground but still worth noting. Luckily our Verizon service consistently had 3-4 bars of 5G so we were able to use our jet pack for any internet needs.
The positive things that took it from a 2 star to a 3 star is that the sites are a pretty good size, it’s close to a lot of stores, restaurants, etc, it has a small pool and hot tub (hot tub was out of order while we stayed here), and it has a cool hill you can climb and see views of Denver. We stayed in site M29 which as I mentioned was sort of in the back and was spacious enough for what we needed. The sites are also all concrete so leveling was very easy. Oh, and it had a lot of cute rabbits running around!
Overall it wasn’t the worst place we’ve ever stayed by any means but we would likely not stay here again unless we were just passing through for a night or two and/or if nothing else in the area was available.

Okay Place
Fun stay, but very tight spots. Unfortunately, it was in the 90s and the pool was closed. So, that was a bummer. There was some great hiking and places for the dogs just up the hill. All in all, it was a good stay and I would have given it four stars if the pool worked.
Worst ever! Tight spaces. Tall weeds. Close to neighbor's sewer.
We are at Dakota Ridge RV Resort in Golden, Colorado, Site# M22. It is terrible and we are grateful that we are only here for 2 nights. Pictures below represent the state of our site- weeds are knee high; there is a sharp dropoff at the end of the site, which overlooks an industrial parking lot. Our door leads right out to the neighbor's connections, including sewer. Our picnic table sits next to those too. Can't put out the awning because of trees overhanging our site. It's Memorial Day weekend and the pool is closed. The showers and laundry room building closes at 5 pm. Plus it's overpriced! Will never be back.

Meh
The rates were much higher than their website stated, there are no shade trees, the hot tub is closed during winter. They did shove the snow but they didn’t clear the entire cement slab so you lost a little space for parking. It’s a nice site with good space but the road noise is a bit much.
New to rving
My first trip in my 5th wheel, heading to the southwest to visit family. This was a great pick for my Denver stopover. Clean and well run, I’ll be making this a regular stop. A little bit noisy by the road but you’re nice and close to the shops and activities. Close to Red Rocks and Golden
Good park close to Denver
We stayed here so we could visit friends in Denver. It was actually a pretty quiet park except when biker bar played. However, they typically knocked off around 10ish, so it didn't really bother us. We were there 3 weeks and maybe 1-2 nights were noisier. I expect if you're parked directly across from the bar you'd hear it more. Across the street there was a Tin Cup convenience market with Amazon Locker. The laundry room was super nice with 6 washers, 8 dryers, folding tables, sink, wheeled baskets, change machine, and soap dispenser machine. Very clean, too. Nice gift and sundries shop by office. Decent parking space, almost level. Good picnic table, had shade tree, and cute bunnies all over the place. Walked the back hill a couple times. It was cooler weather so we didn't see or hear any snakes. The nonrefundable aspect of booking is probably my least favorite part of the park, yet I'd stay there again. Golden is nice area too, and close to some good parks. We took Lyft to Denver, ok price going there but expensive returning to park. The light rail station was nearby, at government center, and that could be good option depending on where you go in city.
Had higher hopes...
Easy to find right off the main drag, so that's a plus. Must be an experienced driver to navigate the tight lots and roads. Smaller sites and not much grass for dogs. Super disappointing the pool was closed in the middle of July. Biker bar and nose didn't affect us. Might consider staying again. No issues with neighbors.
Total dump - run away!
Total dump - trash strewn everywhere, potholes on the pads, noise from the highway and the industrial plant spewing chemicals, deferred maintenance everywhere - you’d do better sleeping on the side of the road b/c you won’t sleep well in this dump
Old, Loud, Poorly Maintained
Dispersed is the extreme opposite of this campground. Loud from two major Golden thoroughfares, and stenchy from a nextdoor industrial facility. Sites are potholed and uneven with massive deferred maintenance with trash afoot.
Nice campground but noisy
Our site was located right next to the major road and biker bar. There is a ton of noise coming from these two especially on the weekend. If you get lucky you might be placed on the other end of the campground.
Pleasant overnight stay
Despite the bad reviews on google, we decided to give it a go as it has nice pictures. I’m glad we did. It looks like management fixed up the bad reviews and the site we had was one. We had the grill out and the awning was out with ample space. They took the time to tell us in advance that there was loud music across the street which wasn’t a problem for us late sleepers. The toilet was clean and the showers were great with hot water that runs well. The flickering light in the bathroom could get fix. But everything was good. I like how there’s a pin code for the bathroom to make sure it’s safe. Overall it was a very good stay.
Clean, friendly staff, beautiful location.
We pulled in late in a 38 ft Class A without a reservation and they had 1 spot in the late check-in box that would accommodate our motor home. Very clean and well maintained RV park. Beautiful view. Extremely friendly staff. Our site had concrete pad…was uneven but totally fine with our auto levelers…this was stated on the packet so we knew when we picked the spot. Will definitely stay here again.
Very Noisy Park
Pros:
Next to a park on top of ridge. Easy hike to Stegosaurus Ridge.
Full hook ups
Friendly staff
Garbage pick up and dumpsters
Quick to repair electric pedestal
Cons:
Across the street from very loud biker bar that play very loud live music starting on Thursday and plays until Saturday. While they mostly stop playing by 10, sometimes the bands play until 10:30
Sites are very close together
There is not enough parking
During rain or melting snow the place is very muddy
Expensive
Stayed from March to first part of June

Nothing fancy good value.
Its exactly what you get for the price tier. Lil gem right off main roads. 3 Day stay seems to be just right.
Clean, Comfortable, and Close To Everything!
If you’re looking for a solid RV park near Golden that’s clean and dog friendly, this place is for you. Staff were very polite and helpful. This is a great base camp for exploring Denver as well as Jefferson and Clear Creek counties.
• Close By: 20 minutes to Denver, 10 minutes to Red Rocks, 8 minutes to the Coors Brewery, 25 minutes to Idaho Springs • Cell Service: 3 bars of 5Ge on AT&T. My personal hotspot worked great here. • Laundry: Washers are $2.50/load, Dryers are $2.00/load. Change machine available. • WiFi: Slow, but strong signal and definitely usable for light web browsing. Google speed test showed 2Mbps down, 0.40Mbps up. • Area: The park is right next to a major interchange where CR-6, I-70, 470, and US-40 all intersect. Expect some road noise as well as the sound of motorcycles from the bar across the street.

high price, no wifi
Next to highway, rental storage area. Motorcycle noise most of the evening. Nothing scenic. Internet was not working. $91/night.
Convenient Option
Excuse my picture with the bug covered window. Wanted to show how the park is located very close to the mountains. Only a two minute drive to Apex park with tons of trails for biking and hiking. It was across the street from a biker bar that was a little louder than I would like but did not interfere with sleep. The street noise got to be a little bit loud. Had all the necessary amenities and hook ups that we were looking for and was a great location.
Comfortable and Affordable RV park!
We loved our time here. The staff was so friendly throughout the entire process from booking, leading us to our site and helping us get situated, being helpful with questions and extensions of our stay, to leaving.
WIFI: They offer free wifi and it would work occasionally for me, although slow. Could not stream video or video chat on their network.
CELL SERVICE: AT&T worked perfect throughout the entire park GYM: They had it open, but encouraged you to BYOLysol wipes to wipe down equipment before and after. They have a small gym, but it was perfect and I was the only one in there every time I went.
LAUNDRY: The laundry was$2.50/wash and$2.00/dryer; have change machine; was clean with plenty of washers and dryers so never had to wait
OUR SITE: shaded, had a little bush, bunnies everywhere; all asphalt throughout the park which kept us able to open our windows to let the breeze blow in every night without our RV interior getting terribly dusty; level slab; all amenities worked great- we used 30amp; spacious site; picnic table; quiet park; light road noise; around a culdesac.
Live music across the street that was fun to hear from our RV. They didn't play too late into the night, but they are right across the street so keep that in mind when asking about a spot in the park. Some sites, I'm sure heard the music way more than we did. Very accessible location in town to get to surrounding areas; super cool hiking trails and mountain bike trails all around. Closest grocery store is about a 6 min drive.

In the heart of Golden
Spotless campground with extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Joe and Terry stand out. The laundry room and bathrooms were spotless. They also provided trash pickup daily. My two issues were our site was up against storage center and there was no one keeping the dog leash ordinance.
Bonus: 5 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Good city site
Good site if you want to be close to Denver but still have a short drive to the foothills. There wasn’t a ton of food around besides the bike bar across the street but there were too many bikes with swastikas for us to feel comfortable taking a family there. The live music flowing into the park Friday and Saturday were great though. There are not a lot of sidewalks outside of the park if you want to explore but the green space behind the park was beautiful and had plenty of space to walk or bike.
Nice Campground
The campground itself is nice, plenty to do around the campground if you like to climb short trails. If you drive for a couple of miles you can enjoy the town of Golden. Rates are a little steep at $45.00 a night for full hook ups. No water or river to fish in, however Clear Creek Campground in Golden does have that and the setting is nicer. They were closed due to the Covid-19 virus. This place will charge you plenty for an hour late check out $25.00 and they won’t budge.
6 Night Stay
Friendly staff, easy bookings. Spaces are close together and many force you and your neighbor into the same grass area - doors open towards each other. You will certainly be forced to meet and interact with others. We were somewhat mid-COVID so they did very well to space people apart To be able to maintain distance. WiFi was pretty poor and I had a booster antenna as well. No cable. Everything else was very good - Power, Water, Sewer. A fair amount of road noise and lots of motorcycle road noise on the weekend. Positioned Against a rock ridge and had trails that went for a few miles - maybe more. Easy to get to even more trails and lots of hiking options. Liquor Store and Convenience Store across the street. Gas, Home Depot and a Camping World were within 2 miles. I think this campground would feel very tight when nearly full during non-COVID times.

We enjoyed!
Clean pool, laundry facilities, daily trash pickup and so many helpers on site! Our first stop at a park, and we loved it! The only downsides are that the campsites are very close and showers could be a bit cleaner.
