Colorado Springs KOA
About
KoA
Imagine waking up to the beautiful view of Pikes Peak (14,115 feet above sea level), the most visited mountain in North America. Visit Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds (try the Bat-a-Pult ride!), and other area attractions. Stay in a fully equipped Cabin, pitch a tent or pull into an RV Site (including extra-large sites). If you are planning a rally or family reunion, this KOA has a hall for those scrumptious potlucks or have them catered by the staff. During the summer, enjoy our splash park, take a dip in the heated pool, or relax in the hot tub. Pets will have a great time being with their families, meeting new dogs, running in the dog park, or trying out the agility park. With so many things to do at KOA and in the area, you will want to stay as long as you can! The campground staff looks forward to seeing you. Pool: Open Year Round. Max pull thru 80 feet.

Great place, fun waterpark!
A blast for kids, plenty of room for big rigs.
Great place to stay for the kiddos!
This campground is a bit on the pricey side but worth it if you have kids. They do fun activities on the weekends like mining for gems and tye-dye shirts. They have a playground, pool, & water park!! Quiet time starts at 11pm so it’s nice and quiet for the evenings and bedtime. I loved that the staff would drive around in golf carts and help with anything that’s needed. It’s a very safe Sara we
Great amenities for family fun
We came here during spring break and actually switched to this place from our previous reservation. Tons of activities for the kids and it’s close to all things in Colorado Springs!

Beautiful KOA
This place has lots of stuff. Tons of cabins and RV spots. They have a few personal campsites with ceilings above them (like a carport). Lots of things for kids to do. Great views of Cheyenne mountain and Pikes Peak.

Work in Progress
We stayed here for one night. I had booked a tent site for June (booked back in April). I received confirmation & then another confirmation one week prior. On the day before checkin I received an email stating that we would be placed in an RV spot (in our 2 man tent) in the midsts of the dozens and dozens of RVs staying on site. Not only is it unsafe, it's quite a miserable experience (noise etc). No one called me to tell me. When I called about the email, I was told the campsite wasn't built yet.... even though several days prior I received a confirmation reminder stating we would be on a tent site. I'm sure it was an oversight, but no one had any resolution. I had to call back and suggest they book us in a cabin instead, to which they did at no additional charge. Communication is definitely lacking. However, bathrooms were clean/well maintained. It was one of the best camp stores I have been in as far as amenities and handy items to buy. The campground itself is clean. The food/cafe is great- the staff at the cafe were very friendly. They have a water park for kids and a bounce pad. Lots of construction currently going on, and it looks hopeful! Very very close to the highway (we could hear the cars pass and the sound of the cars crossing each crease in the road). I think in a year or so when all construction is done this place will be even better. Only reason for 3 stars is the lack of communication and lack of resolution.
It's a KOA...
Not many trees. Very wide open to sun. Sites are small. Bathroom facilities are nice but very cramped. Plenty of things to do at the campground. Sites are well maintained (not alot if grass). It's okay for what it is. Located about 10-15min from Colorado Springs area.
Campground is open
We stayed here for a week while visiting family. The sites are nice, we had a pull through site with patio, fire pit, grill and table with chairs. There were multiple times we tried to call the office prior to arrival and during our stay, nobody ever answered the phones. However, we could always find someone in the office or get a response via email.
No fault of the park’s but there is construction on I-25 right outside the park which was very loud 24 hours a day. If you are a light sleeper you might want to stay towards the back of the park.

A convenient place to stay
We stayed for one night at this campground while on a road trip. We visited Garden of the Gods National Monument while in CO Springs. Our site was nice with coverage from rain, a picnic table, and a place to park our car. The bathrooms were well maintained and accessible. However the KOA was right of the highway and was therefore noisy and not the most charming.
Looks great for kids unless you look closer
What a great looking KOA with a water park and tons of amenitites and activities! Unfortunately the outwards looks can be deceptive. Up close almost everything was broken and undermaintained. Wifi worked for a few hours our first day, never working again. The splash pad and pool were filthy with brown water collecting in low points and so many things floating in it and none NONE of the accessory interactive features like the water shooters or fun parts for little kids. The hot tub was closed. The jump pad had more than half of the tie down points disconnected, but was open for use most of the time. The bubbles platform was closed and none of the horshoe, cornhole, or other areas had their items out for use. Occasionally staff would come out and throw 2 liter bottles of soda pop at the kids, which was both unhealthy and kind of bizarre. They offered games and prizes inside their recration hall, which I think we can just call a Covid transfer room full of unvaccinated kids from hotspot states.
The rv pad was actually rather nice with a good patch of weeds between campsites, table, and working water, power, and sewer hookups.
An oasis of fun foe the whole famikh
Wow. Pretty incredible place. A little off the beaten path but definitely on the higher end of KOA’s. The water park (water slides, soaker splash pad, swimming pool, playgrounds, evening tractor / glow / bubble rides, and so much more - the activities are off the charts. Definitely a destination “Holiday” KOA

Fantastic Family Park
Friendly staff that seemed to all love their jobs. They even went out of their way to be helpful. Very clean and well maintained park. There are a lot of activities throughout the day for kids. Convenient location right off the freeway. Our campsites were fully equipped with cement slab and fire ring.
Very Convenient KOA near Colorado Springs
We spent several nights at this KOA. It's very conveniently located and provided us with a great site and full hook ups. it also has many amenities such as a very nice swimming pool.
Crowded but nice
The facilities are excellent. Staff are super friendly. It’s in a good location. If only the parking spots weren’t packed so tight your neighbor can here your neighbor drum their fingers. Our spot had full sun which didn’t help in the comfort factor either

Clean, Friendly Staff and Well Managed Campground
This campground is very clean and well managed. the staff are super friendly and very helpful. It is close to the highway and right on the Fountain river. Great stopping point for one night or use it as your base like we did. Great location to visit Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Falls, Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, or the Cliff Dewellings which are less than an hours drive away.
Clean Fun and Close to Colorado Springs
Nice campsite with a lot going on. Fun for kids with pool and slides as well as a lot of activities created by the staff for kids. Right by a riverside with scenic walks. Campsites are clean and quiet at night. Cabins available with an outdoor kitchen area. Sites are expanding along the river in future.

Beautiful campground with lots to do
Awesome campground. Activities for the kids. Helpful and kind staff. Rented golf cart to ride trails there the kids loved it. Nice dog park. Close to everything in Colorado Springs. Can't wait to go back.
Great Location
Very Clean and convenient location to Colorado Springs. Thought highway traffic noice would be a problem but, could not tell rv park is next to the interstate. Tent camped here and they have special raised beds with pavilions for tent camping.
Pit stop
We had a great secluded little tent site here! We got in just before dark and popped up the tent had a quick dinner and was able to get some much needed rest!
The shop, amenities, and bathrooms were a nice touch after being on the road a few days! We didn’t stick around because we were heading to Washington, but we really enjoyed our stop!
Great Family Campground
We stayed here on our way from Denver to Santa Fe for a night. The hosts were super helpful at checkin. The sites are a little close and not a ton of trees. We checked out the water park and the water was freezing! The main pool is heated and nice. The jump pad and playground were fun for the littles. At times, you can hear the noise from the interstate and the gun range across the road. Overall, we will definitely be back to stay longer.
Average KOA
Average KOA nothing special was clean easy access no issue on one nighter
Nice KOA Great Loacation
Nice pool and great location near Colorado Springs. Sites are small and do not have a lot of shade but area is safe and conveniently located to attractions.
Perfect for the family!
We loved this koa, it happened to be our first to ever stay at... now we’ve booked 2 others! We stayed in a small basic cabin, it was great! Linens provided, clean! Even though we had neighbors on either side of us pretty close, it was a very quiet peaceful stay. They have a small water park across from the office... perfect for the kids (even though it was about a high of 50 degrees, it was so enticing the kiddos still swam!) all of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms and hot showers! Small creek or river behind the property that was beautiful! An outdoor kitchen and wash room (super amazing amenity!) Activities were planned also each night we were there. Over all this koa defiantly started our addiction! Highly recommend for the family!

Great pool/splash pad
The pool with 2 large slides is great for kids. The park is next to a river. Large choice of food at the chuck wagon. Friendly staff. The only downside was the highway noise.
Great place
Easy access clean friendly staff
Close to shopping or a short drive to outdoor activities
Typical KOA
Sites close together
Has cabins
We stayed in our camper but they had nice looking cabins and talked to an older lady who said they kept them up real nice.
Great place!
This place looks great from the moment yoh ever the park. Each site is well maintained. The store and check in is very nice. The water park is Amazing! I saw 11 people working at the same time a one point during the day. Will return!
Easy Access
Campground has easy access to I-25. Park itself is ok. Could use some sprucing up and a little more attention to the bathrooms. Pool area looks great for kids.
Grabbing a quick cabin
Me along with four other friends spent several days tent camping around the Colorado Springs area. On our last night of travel, our camping plans fell through and we needed to find a convenient place late at night to rest. We ended up at the KOA and took advantage of one of their adorable little cabins. All five of us spent the night, actually pretty comfortably, and got a great night's sleep. All and all a very positive experience at the KOA's wonderful, clean facilities.
