Within Douglas County Forest, Gordon Dam operates as a county-managed campground from mid-May through early September. The site provides electric hookups at most locations, along with a dump station for RV waste and water filling. Campers can access the grounds by car, boat, or on foot, with the campground positioned close to water for boat launching.

The facility includes standard amenities like drinking water, restrooms, picnic tables, and allows campfires with firewood available for purchase. Dogs are permitted throughout the campground. One reviewer notes the absence of water and sewer hookups at individual sites, though the central dump station handles these needs. For additional options, see camping near Gordon.
