Snowshoe Valley Camping

Where the Allegheny Mountains meet open terrain, Snowshoe Valley Camping sits on private land with drive-in and walk-in access options. The campground operates 2.7 miles from the Snowshoe resort area, with rough access roads leading to sites that range from $20-$85 per night.

Campers can request placement on the north side of the property, which borders a marsh that draws various bird species. The river proximity and protected forest surroundings provide hiking opportunities, while basic amenities include restrooms, showers, and firewood sales. Pet owners will find their companions welcome, and campfires are permitted throughout the grounds. Those exploring the broader region can find places to camp around Snowshoe for additional base camp options.
