Fishing and water recreation enthusiasts will find direct lake access at Pierre Lake Campground, a US Forest Service site in the Colville National Forest. The free campground operates year-round with basic amenities including drinking water, vault toilets, and picnic tables with fire rings at each site.
Sites sit relatively close together but maintain privacy through surrounding trees and brush. Interconnected trails link different areas of the campground. Campers must pack out all trash as no dumpster service is provided. The lake supports swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, with clear water and sandy beach areas. For additional options, see campgrounds around Colville National Forest. The location works well for anglers and paddlers seeking free lakefront camping.
