Napeequa Crossing Campground

Anglers and hikers find direct river access and a Twin Lakes trailhead across the road at Napeequa Crossing Campground. This US Forest Service site in Wenatchee National Forest functions more like dispersed camping, with just two riverside spots that include picnic tables and fire rings.

Both sites sit directly on the water with a steep step down to the river, suitable for floating, fishing, or swimming. A vault toilet serves the small campground. The Twin Lakes trail offers a challenging hike with elevation gain. Summer reservations prove difficult due to limited capacity, so campers should consider campsites near Leavenworth for backup options.

2 camp spots by the river

This is less of a campground and more "dispersed" camping.  There are picnic tables and fire rings which is nice and a small vault toilet.  (This really helps since you are right on the river and its hard to find good places to go)

Both sites are right on the river, there is a little bit of a steep step down but the spot would be good for floating, fishing or swimming.

Definitely head up to twin lakes - the trailhead across the street.  It's a great and challenging hike with payoff all the way up.

4 stars because there are only 2 spots and it's really hard to get in the summer :(
