Just off Highway 20 via a short dirt road, Nile Lake sits within Colville National Forest as a free dispersed camping area. The road extends roughly two to three blocks before reaching a small loop at the lake's edge, where water levels can rise to meet the roadway itself.
Rock fire circles dot both the open field surrounding the lake and forested sections along the access road. The lake allows watercraft though lacks a formal launch ramp. Campers must bring all supplies and pack out everything, as this primitive site offers no facilities beyond the established fire rings. Multiple trails branch out from the area for those wanting to explore beyond the lake. For pet owners planning forest adventures, dog-friendly camping around Colville National Forest provides additional options in the region.
