Part of the George Washington National Forest's dispersed camping network along Alhambra Road, this drive-in site sits above the South Fork Piney River with direct trail access down to the water. The elevated position provides views across the river valley below. Long-term campers have nicknamed this spot "Cliff View" for its perched location overlooking the waterway.
The site is one of 15 dispersed camping areas spread along Alhambra Road, with Alhambra Road Site 8 located nearby. Forest Service roads provide vehicle access to the camping area. The river trail offers fishing and water recreation opportunities directly from camp.
