Spacious sites: Many campgrounds offer well-separated camping areas. "The sites are well spaced apart giving plenty of privacy. We didn't have much shade in ours but they provide a ramada on a cement pad over the picnic table which was great," notes Erin A. about Cottonwood Campground.
Clean facilities: Well-maintained bathrooms and showers receive consistent praise. A camper at Hyrum State Park Campground reports, "This is a great campground, the host is really nice, it's clean, has great bathrooms and a great view of the lake!"
Sunrise and sunset views: Several waterfront sites offer remarkable sky views. "Hands down the best campground for sunset views on all of Antelope Island! The sunsets in the fall, and winter are the best as the bugs have gone down considerably and therefore you won't get eaten alive!" writes Alan B. about his experience at White Rock Bay.

Insect activity: Certain locations experience seasonal bug problems. "The landscape is beautiful but I cannot stress to you enough the amount of biting gnats there were. It was unbearable for us and bug spray didn't deter them one bit," warns Becca S. about her stay at White Rock Bay Campground.
Highway noise: Some campgrounds sit close to major roadways. "The campground is literally right off the NB/SB freeway. The sites are pretty nice and many are very close to the lake," explains Derek E. about Willard Bay State Park.
