Highway 6 RV Resort

Highway 6 RV Resort accommodates RVs up to 65 feet on level concrete pads with full hookups including 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer connections. The private campground operates with gated access and requires a code or remote opener for entry. Reservations are available and pets are welcome.

The resort centers around a fountain pond with a heated pool that maintains lukewarm temperatures from sun exposure. Adult-only pool hours run from 8pm to 10pm, and the adjacent hot tub reaches high temperatures for muscle relaxation. Two dog runs provide exercise space, including what one reviewer called the largest they had encountered at any campground, plus a complimentary dog wash station with hot and cold water and a blow dryer.

Indoor amenities include a recreation room with pool table, shuffleboard, large television, and daily coffee and popcorn service. Weight lifting equipment, treadmills, and four computers with printer access occupy additional spaces. "It is a clean and orderly place," notes Ben W., who lived at the park for several months. The bathrooms and showers receive regular maintenance according to multiple reviews.

The location sits a quarter mile from Highway 6 with numerous stores and restaurants nearby. Across the street, a county park offers paved walking and biking paths around a lake. For additional options, campers can explore places to camp near Stafford about eight miles southeast.

Fine place to live,

I lived in this park from October 2021 until mid May 2022.  It is a clean and orderly place.

I made good use of the showers and bathrooms that were always clean.  I also used the recreation room that had a pool table, shuffle board table and large television.  Each day there was coffee and popcorn available. Weight lifting equipment and walking machine were in the room also. One room had four computers and one printer.  The entire park is fenced. There is a locked gate at the entrance.  Residents have a code to open the gate or a remote gate opener can be used if a deposit is paid for the device. Across the street is a county park with asphalt walking/running/biking paths around the large lake. I stayed there again November of 2022 but was there just a short time until I sold my 5th wheel trailer. The park is a quarter mile of a major highway which has plenty of stores and fastfood joints.

Recommend

I recently stayed at Highway 6 RV Resort and I have nothing to say about my experience other than good. The property managers, the administration had been incredibly hospitable and made sure that my continue to be was comfortable and pleasant. The caravan parks have been spacious and well maintained, and the facilities furnished were first-class. The sparkling pool used to be a great way to cool off on a hot day, and the laptop room and exercise equipment made it convenient to stay connected and lead an energetic lifestyle away from home. The location was also a big plus, thanks to easy access to everything Houston has to offer. The nearby West Oaks Mall and SugarLand Skeeters Stadium offered a variety of entertainment options, and the proximity to major highways made it easy to get around the city. Overall, I relatively recommend Highway 6 RV Resort and will definitely remain here again! Thanks to my company Andersen for a wonderful vacation, it was a great vacation with colleagues and we had a lot of fun!

Crazy management

They follow people around with a radar, to fine you if you idle too fast. They stalk you when you walk your dogs, and blame you for other people's mess. Nice park, horrible management. It was worth the loss of money to move as far from them as possible

Dog friendly and Luxurious Poolside

This is by far our favorite campground so far. Dont let the name fool you. HWY 6 reminded us of motel 6 so we were hesitant at first but we are so glad we stayed. They have 2 dog runs, one of them being the largest dog run weve seen at a campground so our mali really got to sprint it out. They also had a free dog wash! both out doggos got washed and it was easy to use with hot and cold water and a larger blow dryer! the pool was so fancy and the water was lukewarm from the warm son so night swims were the best. They have adult pool hours from 8pm-10pm so. Bring your cocktails and music and have a good time! Also the hot tub was so hot it relaxed all your muscles. There isnt a lot of trees for shade but the fountain pond in the center kept everything cooler. 30/50 amp water and sewage, back in, great free wifi! all paved level sites.

We visited the houston zoo, houston aquarium, and rooftop cinema club!

Very nice rv resort

A bit on the pricier side, but it is very well managed and well kept. Pool is clean, bathrooms are clean, laundry room clean and looked like all the machines worked. Level concrete pads. Overall we were pleased with our time here.
