The Crosseyed Cricket

Where the Tennessee foothills meet Melton Hill Lake, The Crosseyed Cricket accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups alongside boat-in and walk-in options. This established campground operates year-round, drawing campers who appreciate its proximity to both water activities and regional attractions. Multiple access methods allow visitors to arrive by land or water, with the boat-in sites providing direct lake access.

The campground maintains a pool and fishing opportunities that keep families engaged during longer stays. Roberta R. notes the facility "have fishing and a pool which we really enjoyed," though she mentions changes to their reservation policies that now favor long-term stays over short-term camping. The staff assists with site setup, and Crystal S. describes the atmosphere as having "friendly and helpful campers" with a "family atmosphere at the cricket."

Full amenities include restrooms, showers, and a dump station alongside the electrical, water, and sewer connections at RV sites. Campfires are permitted throughout the property, and pets can accompany their owners. The campground's location provides access to sites around Lenoir City for those exploring the broader region.

Reserve ahead if planning a visit, as the facility now focuses primarily on longer-term arrangements rather than first-come availability.

Many campers appreciated the friendly, helpful staff and family atmosphere. Amenities like fishing and a pool received positive feedback, but the campground has shifted to long-term reservations only, disappointing former short-term visitors.

I like it

I prefer playing cricket for physical exercise rather than virtual games like Nulls Brawl. It's a great way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors, especially in beautiful locations like The Crosseyed Cricket Campground in Tennessee.

Great

Nulls Brawl likely offers a way to share game progress or resources with others. You could generate links or codes to give them access, allowing you to play or team up with friends more easily. https://nullsbrawlapk.de/

Beautiful and peaceful

This was our go-to camping spot since it’s close to home and we have animals to take care of. The campgrounds have fishing and a pool which we really enjoyed. However they are no longer accepting short-term campers, nor do they reserve on a first-come basis. They are now accept long-reservations only.

Disappointed

This has been our #1 go-to spot and this year it has turned into a predominately long-term camping location.
