Follys End Campground

Follys End Campground sits along a creek in Girard, Pennsylvania, operating as a fishing-focused establishment where the on-site owner maintains an active presence. The recently paved access road leads to gravel-based sites that accommodate RVs up to 45 feet with full hookups available. Sites spread out with adequate spacing between them, and the most desirable locations run directly alongside the river.

The camp office doubles as a fishing supply store, stocked with gear for anglers planning to try their luck in the large stream that flows through the property. Lucas L. notes he will "definitely will be back to try the trout fishing." Each site includes a tire rim fire pit, picnic table, and electric and water hookups on level gravel pads. The bathrooms receive regular cleaning, and hot water stays consistent in the shower facilities.

Cell service varies by carrier, with AT&T providing good coverage while Verizon users may experience limited connectivity. WiFi reaches areas near the office but weakens at more distant sites. The stream offers hiking opportunities upstream from camp, and the grounds remain quiet even during weekend periods. Campers exploring the region can find campsites near Girard for additional options in the area.

Nightly rates range from $22-$34, making this one of the more affordable camping options in the region. Book ahead during fishing season when trout activity peaks.

Great No Frills Camp!

This place has an old time feel that me of good times past. The sites are generally spacious, and are gravel based. The driveway to the camp seemed to be recently paved. The owner is very friendly and is on site. Camp office was geared towards fishing but was very interesting. Bathrooms were clean and the grounds looked good. Was very quiet at night and generally even on the weekend. I have not seen prices this low before. Definitely will be back to try the trout fishing!

Pet friendly, propane available, WiFi available near office, AT&T service good, Large stream runs along the property, and it was a nice hike up it!

Nice spot

Sites aren't on top of each other. Best sites are along the river and store has lots of fishing supplies. Wifi was too weak at my tent site and Verizon service was mostly unavailable. The site has a tire rim fire pit and picnic table with electric and water. Gravel pad where I parked was nearly level. Bathroom was cleaned the day I used shower and hot water was good. Prices for the site was $31/night and this was early season. I'm in a pickup with rooftop tent.
