This private campground accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups and operates year-round, making it accessible for both seasonal and winter camping. Located between two mountains with a creek running alongside, the property offers drive-in access plus boat-in options for water-based arrivals.
The facility maintains consistently clean restrooms and showers, with multiple campers highlighting the cleanliness standards. Sites accommodate both short-term visitors and seasonal campers, some with permanent structures attached to their setups. A playground serves families with children, while the mountain setting provides opportunities to spot local wildlife. Tiffany K. found the location "while going to Elk State Forest for the elk bugling" and appreciated the clean facilities and creek-side setting.
The campground serves as a base for exploring the Elk State Forest region, with Ridge Road North Campsite — Elk State Forest located nearby for additional forest access. Pets are welcome throughout the property. While most sites work well for standard camping setups, the terrain limits options for hammock camping to just a few sites with suitable tree spacing.
Reservations are available for planning visits, and the owners handle day-to-day operations on-site.
