Driftwood II OHV Campground

Within Siuslaw National Forest, Driftwood II OHV Campground operates as a designated staging area for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts accessing the Oregon Dunes. The US Forest Service manages this drive-in facility year-round, accommodating RVs up to 39 feet with basic amenities including restrooms and trash service.

Campers describe the layout as a parking lot configuration with numbered spaces but minimal separation between sites. The campground serves primarily as a base for ATV and dirt bike riders, with late-night vehicle activity common during busy weekends and racing events. While reviewers note the facility stays clean, the setup offers little privacy and can generate significant noise from OHV preparation and operation.

This OHV-focused campground functions as a parking lot with marked spaces rather than traditional sites. Guests frequently mentioned cleanliness as a positive, but noise and crowding issues make it best suited for ATV enthusiasts only.

Parking lot basically

We weren’t impressed with this spot. If you have your atvs and all with you then it would be nice but besides that it wasn’t very good at all. Loud and zero privacy between a spots. It was clean though which was nice

OHV only

Parking lot with no space in between spots. Lots of vehicles. No privacy. Plus is it’s dog friendly. Avoid weekends and check to see if races are coming up. We made mistake of dropping in right before one...people were up late on their OHVs or tinkering around on ‘em.
