Foster Bar Campground

Foster Bar Campground is located near the Rogue River in southwestern Oregon. It's situated in the vicinity of Agness, accessible via Bear Camp Road when approaching from the north. The campground is positioned in a scenic area that allows easy access to the river. Many visitors pass through Agness before reaching the campground. Foster Bar Campground can be accessed directly from the Rogue River via the boat launch area adjacent to the campground. When traveling on the river, look for the Foster Bar boat ramp, which serves as the main river access point. The boat launch has parking facilities and is just a short distance from the campground itself. This makes Foster Bar a convenient ending point for river trips, offering camping facilities right near where boaters and kayakers take out of the water. The river access point is well-established and frequently used by rafters and boaters.
