Anglers targeting the Muskingum River will find direct water access at this state park campground in Nashport. The facility sits adjacent to historic Lock 11, providing bank fishing opportunities that draw local visitors on weekends. Sites feature large grass-covered areas with picnic tables, though campers should prepare for rough access roads leading into the park.
Basic amenities include restrooms with the campground's only water source, but no shower facilities are available. RVs up to 30 feet can be accommodated at the $18 nightly rate. The open terrain layout offers little natural privacy between sites. For those planning extended stays in the region, campsites near Zanesville provide additional options with varying amenity levels.
