Skinners Falls Campground

Skinners Falls Campground sits along the Delaware River in Milanville, New York, operating as a private facility with both drive-in and boat-in access. The circular layout centers around a large communal green space, with some sites positioned directly on the riverbank. Campers can rent tubes, kayaks, and rafts on-site, while fishing and swimming access draws visitors to the waterfront locations.

The campground maintains basic amenities including hot showers, though bernadette C. notes the bathhouses are "clean but old." Sites offer adequate spacing with picnic tables and fire rings, plus firewood delivery service. A small camp store stocks essentials. Weekend crowds can create a party atmosphere that some find disruptive, particularly during summer holidays when groups of ten or more gather with amplified music.

Water activities dominate the experience here. jake secured a "camp site right on the Delaware River" and enjoyed fishing, swimming, and equipment rentals. The open terrain provides little shade, making riverside spots especially popular during hot weather.

For additional camping choices in the region, explore places to camp near Milanville. Reservations are recommended for waterfront sites, and weekday visits typically offer a quieter experience than summer weekends.

Campers regularly cited spacious waterfront sites and river activities as major draws. Many mentioned clean facilities and friendly staff, though weekend crowds can create a party atmosphere rather than peaceful camping.

This campground has nice spacious river front campsites available.

This campground was nice they offered river activities ( for purchase ) tubing, kayaking, rafting. They had a small camp store and friendly staff . The bath houses were clean but old , they had hot water and plenty of private shower stalls . The campsites are pretty spacious and lots of community green space in the center of a circular campground. I would definitely go back

By the River, nice!

I usually camp here once a year in the summer. This year 2020 I went twice during the week. This camp site is conveniently located by the river. Which is really the only reason it gets 4 stars. Aside from the river trips this camp site has became a go to place for City folk looking to party...And I mean 10+ people, night club music full on parties. Dont expect any peace and quiet camping by the stars like some state/national parks campgrounds. Which is why I choose to go during the week (M-Th). Avoid the summer weekends and holidays at all cost if you are looking for some old school camping. If you dont mind the crowd and everything that comes with it (dirty bathrooms) then have some fun, enjoy the music, alcohol, and most of all; the river.

Love this place

Beautiful, spacious, waterfront sites available. Lean-to sites also. Love it here, though the staff can be cantankerous and hard to deal with.

Worth the ride

Rode out here for an all women biker rally. Was worth the 12 hours in the saddle. Friendly staff, clean facilities and gorgeous views!
