Where the rolling hills of southern New Hampshire meet manicured fairways, Hidden Valley RV and Golf Park sprawls across 1,300 acres of family-owned land in Derry. The Simonsen family operates this combination campground and golf course, accommodating up to 300 RVs with full hookups on sites that can handle rigs up to 45 feet. Most campers are seasonal residents who stay from May through October, creating a community atmosphere among the hard-sided units that dominate the property.
The golf course serves as the main draw, offering both 9 and 18-hole options alongside a pro shop and cart rentals. Two swimming beaches provide water access, while an on-site general store, bar and grill, and clubhouse handle daily needs. Reviews highlight the property's fishing opportunities and note that children often gather in the game room area to access WiFi. The laundry facilities and bathhouse earn consistent praise for cleanliness.
Site conditions vary across the property. Some campers report challenges with utility placement, where water and electric connections sit between sites rather than directly at each spot. "The water and electric were between our site and the next on one side and sewer between our site and the one on the other side," one visitor noted, making trailer positioning more difficult on slanted terrain.
For RV travelers exploring the region, campsites near Derry provide additional options. The campground works best for RV owners seeking golf access and seasonal community connections rather than wilderness camping.
