Hidden Valley Road

Off Highway 15 near Overton, Hidden Valley Road provides free dispersed camping on Bureau of Land Management land. This gravel camping area sits right off the interstate exit, making it easily accessible for travelers passing through Nevada. The flat, open terrain accommodates RVs up to 40 feet, with multiple spots available for overnight stays.

Campers find level gravel sites scattered across the area, though some locations offer better leveling than others. The proximity to Interstate 15 means road noise is present, but the convenience factor appeals to those needing a quick overnight stop. Cell service works well here, with both T-Mobile and Verizon providing coverage according to visitor reports. The open landscape offers unobstructed views toward surrounding desert hills, particularly notable during sunrise and sunset hours.

"Fantastic sunset and sunrise view," notes Michael C. about the evening and morning light displays. The area typically remains uncrowded, though other RVs and vehicles may arrive throughout the evening. Campers exploring the region can find additional campsites around Overton for extended stays. The lack of amenities keeps this spot simple and functional for highway travelers needing a safe place to rest before continuing their journey.

Campers regularly cited level parking spots and decent cell service at this convenient highway stop. A common theme was the complete lack of amenities, making it ideal for basic overnight stays rather than extended camping.

Right off exit

Convenient location right off exit. Offers some flat gravel sites, small. Perfect for a overnight stay as you’re driving thru. There were no cars when we pulled up so we were able to bring a 30 foot RV onto site and Parker on a flat area. When we woke up there was another rv and car there too.

No Complaints

Lots of room. Level. Good T-Mobile signal. Felt safe, although felt kind of vulnerable when no one else was there. One was one other camper that came in late. Nice views.

Not Bad

Right off of hwy 15. The views are nice. It's BLM land and I was able to find a level spot. Good Verizon signal.

Good spot for the night

While a bit close to Hwy 15 it works for a rest stop or overnight. Nothing here. No amenities. We didn’t venture further down the dirt road. Have 2 bars Verizon. Found a flat spot to park. Enough spaces for a couple of rigs but other spots might not be as flat.
