Security lights illuminate the grounds throughout the night, which some visitors find intrusive. "At 9 pm, a light went on above our tent," notes Barbara L.. "It was so bright on the white top of our tent that it was like the sun was directly above us."
The facility provides restrooms with two showers, a dish washing station, and laundry services. Large, shaded & level pull-thrus with up to 50 amps and spacious, level RV back-in sites with up to 30 amps, have full hookup service and can accommodate rigs with slide outs and awnings. RV sites, tent sites and cabins are surrounded by majestic spruce and pine trees. First class restrooms with hot showers are available to our guests at no extra charge. The meticulously maintained campground is located in a secluded wooded area with grassy surroundings, only 9 blocks from Yellowstone National Park's west entrance and only 30 miles from Old Faithful. All town services, The Grizzly Discovery Center, Yellowstone IMAX Theatre, Museum of the Yellowstone and Playmill Theatre are within walking distance. The town of West Yellowstone is surrounded by National Park and forest lands, rivers and lakes, providing excellent opportunities for fishing, white water rafting, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and sightseeing. Scheduled bus tour pickups are available to all Yellowstone attractions and geological wonders.
