Accessible via wide, well-maintained roads, Pumpkin Patch RV Resort accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups on level, pull-through sites. The privately managed campground operates from May through October and charges $50 per night, with discounts available for Good Sam, military, and extended stays. Reservations are accepted for the 40+ sites spread across forested terrain.
The campground caters primarily to an adult crowd, with most sites occupied by seasonal campers who maintain well-kept setups. "Sites are very clean, good space, well laid out and pretty level," notes Rick G.. Maintenance crews regularly mow and clean the grounds. A recreation room accommodates group gatherings, while a fenced dog exercise area includes water and toys for pets. Two clean laundry facilities and decent WiFi coverage serve campers' practical needs.
Cell service performs well throughout the park, with Verizon users reporting strong reception. Over-the-air television picks up approximately 20 channels. The resort provides walking trails that connect to nearby school paths through the woods. Hookups are positioned for easy connection without extension cords.
Downtown Bangor sits 15 minutes away, offering restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues. For campers preferring different settings, Paul Bunyan Campground provides an alternative three miles east.
