Hemlock Grove Campground

With full hookups and reservations available, Hemlock Grove Campground operates from mid-May through mid-October at $44-$58 per night. The family-owned facility sits in a wooded setting just off the main road, providing drive-in access to spacious, level sites with gravel pads. Full RV hookups include electric, water, and sewer connections, plus a dump station for those without sewer at their site.

The campground maintains clean, updated restrooms and shower facilities, along with laundry service and a camp store. WiFi reaches throughout the property, and cable TV is available at sites. A gated entrance provides controlled access, and the grounds stay well-maintained according to multiple visitors. Sites offer good spacing between neighbors, with many positioned among mature trees for natural shade.

Coffee&Camping T. notes the property "felt private despite having neighbors." The location puts campers about 20 minutes from Old Orchard Beach and close to Kennebunkport restaurants. During peak season, a Maine lobster food truck often parks at the entrance. Mosquitoes can be active in summer months, so insect repellent helps. The campground prohibits motorcycles, likely due to its proximity to Bentley's saloon and campground.

For those exploring the broader region, places to camp near Arundel provide additional options within the southern Maine coastal area.

Many campers appreciated the spacious, wooded sites and friendly family-owned atmosphere with clean facilities. Mosquitoes can be an issue seasonally, but most found the quiet setting and convenient coastal location appealing.

Very comfortable campsites

We had a fifth wheel and they had 50amp hook up with water and sewer. It’s very shady and there’s a laundry but only cold water. The mosquitoes were pesky so bring repellent. There is a good food truck right here and a little camp store. Convenient to Kennebunkport and restaurants. Maine Diner was fantastic! WiFi worked great, cable tv also. No pool but the beach is nearby.

Beautiful place

Stayed here in August on trip from NY . Campground is beautifully set in the woods off of main road . Our site was towards camp store and road so had a bit of road noise but wasn’t bad . Sites are spacious , level , with gravel pads . Campground has laundry and store and is gated . During our stay Maine Lobster foodtruck was parked at entrance daily . If you are looking for a campground near the Maine coast that is close and convenient while being quiet and having room between your camper and the the site next door this is the place for you

Great place on the woods

Nice campground, very well kept, modern and clean restrooms. Family owned and very friendly and personable staff. We stayed at site number 11 and had plenty of room for our 28 foot travel trailer. There were some bigger sites and everything seem to be well wooded. About a 20 minute ride to OOB...We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. No motorcycles allowed, I believe because it is right next to Bentley’s motorcycle bar..
