Adventureland Campground

After some confusion with booking (office hours are until 7pm, confirmation email said 9pm) we were able to get ahold of the operations manager at the park who helped us. Pull through paved 50 amp sites, with water and sewage. Picnic table for use. Within view of Adventureland so it was cool to see the rides lit up at night as we parked. Clean park. Will definitely stop by again when we aren’t just passing through!

Great place but not quiet at all.  Short walk to the amusement park.  We were there for most of the early summer so we got a season pass to the park which included the water park.  They also have workcamper programs.

We especially loved the fireworks display on the 4th.

This is not really a campground it's more like an RV lot for employees who live across the street from Adventureland they camp in their RVs and work across the street.

I stayed at Adventureland for the summer months and had no issues. The staff was very helpful, plenty of laundry/restrooms throughout the campground and pretty clean overall. Concrete pads with full hook ups (30/50 amp, water and sewage) make setting up quick. Tent camping is an option in the back of the campground. Nature is not really the draw of this campground, convenience is more the approach. With a theme park on one side and a casino on the other, both in walking distance. It’s more of a park and party place hahaha

Difficult to find entrance and difficult to locate camp site. Pleasant staff. Full hookups. Best if enjoying Adventureland Amusement Park or Prairie Meadows Casino and Racetrack. Not recommended if wanting to enjoy a true outdoors camping experience.

Campground is well kept. Spaces are fairly close together, not much privacy. Remodeled bathroom/showers. Showers have no benches or hooks or anything. You have to pile your clean clothes on the floor, not even a hook to hang your towel. This is a great campground to stay at if you are visiting the amusement park, other than that not much to do.

We happened upon this campground on our way out West. So glad we found it. The sites are all mostly concrete slabs, so it was easy to back in and set-up. Not sure if they allow campfires, though. Pool was nice, and also had a few arcade games in the pool house. The biggest draw for us was Adventureland Park which was a five minute walk from the campground. Adventureland Park is a small amusement park and water park which is great for all ages. Lots of rides for little ones, but fun adventures even for adults as well. Other restaurants and a casino are very close as well. Would come back for a long weekend away or when passing through.

Very quiet but that will change once Adventureland opens. For as concerned about their grass as they are you would think the mowing crew would do a bit better

This is a great spot if you plan on staying in the area and want to go to Adventure Land or Prairie Meadows. There are lots of restaurants near by like Spectators and Jethro’s BBQ.

As far as the RV park goes it’s pretty busy, mostly small families and older folks. The lots aren’t very big and you are kind of packed in there. They have a swimming pool and a fishing pond. The office also has a little store to buy goods.

They do have a small area to tent camp in. I probably would stick go rv though. There are also comfort stations lol for showers and bathrooms.

They do also sell firewood and during July 4th Adventure land puts on a really great fireworks show.

Very friendly help at the office. Clean sites. Pretty tight quarters. When making reservations we were told it had a pool. They did not tell us it closed for the year the day we started or weeks stay. Might have made a difference if we knew. Plenty to do here. Right next to the casino and horse race track and also next to adventure land amusement park.
