Monticello offers many recreational activities in very close proximity. Lake Shafer & Lake Freeman have a variety of fish to catch and offer public boat launching capability. There are Watercraft Rentals closeby for family enjoyment, or spend the day at one of the local golf courses. like Tippecanoe Country Club or Pine View.
