Many campers appreciated the new owners' improvements including level sites, extensive amenities like the saltwater pool and café, plus exceptional hospitality. Some highway noise noted but most found the lakefront setting peaceful.

Great Campground

Quick two night stay for us but although our first time here was short we will certainly be back. Campground is clean and very well maintained. Owners are very involved and run things very thoughtfully.

They were able to accommodate our 44ft 5th wheel and navigating to the site was simple. Can’t wait to come back and visit.

Repeat Visit

This was a repeat visit. Just as perfect as the first time. Lake was beautiful and staff are always so helpful. They even have an on-site RV Tech that works for them who helped us fix our hot water heater. Very professional young man. We also enjoyed live music at the pavilion, and PIZZA from their new café, it was fabulous. They even have Boba tea.

High speed Wifi

This campground  offers, high-speed Wi-Fi that actually works!  the new owners upgraded last year and it’s fabulous !

Family Owned KOA!

This campground became a KOA in late fall 2022. Since the new owners took over they have made wonderful improvements. Added a new saltwater pool, deluxe cabins, deluxe camping sites. All sites have 50/30 AMP. Most with lake views or select a site right nearest the lake. They added a New Cafe with pizza, coffees and Boba tea. Super clean park & restrooms

Still developing

Owners are fantastic. They will get to a 5 as they continue their hard work making it an awesome place. New owners took over 4 months ago. They have many activities (was yogi bear till it was sold) put put, bowling, chess, volleyball, fishing. Dog park, Play ground was nicely done. Lake has lots of algae. Pool is brand new. It is by highway however, that did not bother us personally. I will visit again and would consider seasonal. Service id rate them a 5. Wonderful people and the place as much potential.

Very nice RV park

The new owners are extremely helpful, hard working and friendly. Many pull through full service sites. Many amenities including fishing, mini golf, playground, yard games, etc. We really enjoyed our 6 night stay.

New Name “Camp Raintree Lake”

Gorgeous property with such kind and friendly owners. New owners that are making improvements to the property but it is so nice already.

The lake is GORGEOUS. Sites have mature trees, variety of singing birds. Really nice stay here as we were passing through. There is a sand volleyball net, gah gah ball, dog park, playground, mini golf (not ready for summer yet), and a new pool soon (concrete poured the other day).

Campground is a few miles from interstate and right off the highway so some highway noise but still a great picturesque place.

We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area .

Nice place, easy access, easy entrance for big rigs <55'

Review 2019: We are here for an overnight stay and are happy we chose this place. Sites are level, water is good, power is stable at 118 VAC. The sewer entry on our site is plain PVC so we had to use a foam doughnut to secure the elbow with 20' of hose. We found it easy to maneuver our 36' Class A towing a dolly and Honda Civic. If you rig is more than 60' including Toad ask owner about available spaces. Owner is friendly, open and park has trimmed trees and about 90 sites of which 60% are for transients and the remainder are seasonal.

The WiFi is good with adequate bandwidth. My Verizon hotspot works fine and the cell site is not too far away. The park is about 4 miles from I-65 with good roads to/from on SR 56. They accept Passport America and Good SAM. I think all sites have a fire ring and there are areas for children to play down by the pond. We will return as it is quiet and you can see the stars.

Review 2020:  We tried to stay here in April 2020 but owner said it was closed due to Covid-19.  We proceeded North to Columbus Woods-N-Waters:  Jellystone is a much nicer place to stay.  If you are pushing the season call to confirm they are open.  https://jellystoneraintreelake.com/      4577 IN-56, Scottsburg, IN 47170   +18127524062
