Within Payette National Forest, Lafferty provides basic camping facilities managed by the US Forest Service at low cost. The campground sits near a creek and includes drinking water, restrooms, and trash service, with pets and alcohol permitted.

Access requires careful consideration for larger RVs, as the turnaround loop proves too tight for rigs over 30 feet. Sites run small, making it difficult to unhook vehicles without blocking the road. One camper reported having to back a 37-foot trailer all the way to the main highway due to the restricted maneuvering space. The campground works better for camping destinations outside Payette National Forest visitors with smaller setups or tent camping preferences.

Not for big trailers.

Ok campground with bathrooms. But beware it is not for 30' or bigger trailers. Rv spots are on the small side and you will not be able to get a large trailer turned around. The turnaround loop road at the end is too tight. I had the unpleasant experience of having to back my 37' trailer all the way out to te main highway. Fifth wheels may be able to make the loop but the rv spaces are rather small. No way you could leave a vehicle hooked up and not block the road.

Sitewasn't able to stay.
