Multiple dispersed sites spread along Nip and Tuck Road, where campers access free primitive camping with views across the valley toward the Sawtooth Range. The Forest Service road extends roughly three miles from Highway 21, with sites scattered at various distances offering different levels of privacy and outlook.
Road conditions vary significantly depending on approach direction. Campers entering from the west via Highway 21 encounter manageable conditions suitable for RVs up to 36 feet, though those accessing from Highway 75 to the east face a problematic wash that can damage low-clearance vehicles. Sites positioned closer to Stanley provide better cell coverage, with AT&T and T-Mobile both delivering usable speeds for basic connectivity.
Most sites lack established fire rings, though some feature existing rings from previous use. Campers must pack in all water and pack out all waste under standard Leave No Trace protocols. The 10-day limit applies across the dispersed area. Wildlife includes antelope, ground squirrels, and occasional cattle grazing in surrounding areas. Kevin C. notes "clear views all around with unparalleled astronomy night viewing" from elevated positions.
Sites fill quickly during peak season, particularly those with direct Sawtooth views. Campers find this area useful when established campgrounds around Stanley RV + Camp reach capacity.
